[na.forsale] Whole messa goodies for sale or trade...

rdm@hoptoad.uucp (Rich Morin) (09/17/86)

I have a number of items which I would like to part with, in trade
for pelf (moolah, greenbacks, etc.). The prices are more or less
flexible, depending on the item involved. If you have nifty things
to trade, I may be interested. Make what you think are fair offers,
and I will respond in kind. The items are as follows:

1)	Two CDC 9760 Disk Drives (As Is) ($500/pr.)

The drives are a pair of (40 MB) CDC 9760's, with four
packs and a number of spare boards. The units are old,
but have been used less than 1000 hours. They use
(round cable) SMD, and 115 VAC. I have made up cables
for one of them, and have a good contact at CDC for info.

2)	Fujitsu 2312 Disk Drive ($1500)

The drive is a Fujitsu M2312K (84 MB, unformatted), from
a Sun 2/100 system. It comes with a manual, metal case,
whisper fan, power supply, etc. It is around three years
	old, and works just fine.

3)	Interphase 2180 Disk Controller Board (Multibus/SMD)	($500)

This is a working board, but Sun's latest OS release is
	unwilling to support it (!@#$%).

4)	Central Data 1018 Octal Serial Int. Board (Multibus)	($250)

See note 3, above. Comes with manual, plugs.

5)	Deltec (now Gould) DSU 1810 U.P.S. (1800 VA) ($1500)

This unit does continuous conversion (no relays to fail
or take up valuable time). It uses 115 VAC @ 60 Hz. The
batteries were replaced fairly recently, have seen almost
no duty, and have been charged up occasionally, to prevent
	problems.

6)	Ampex 1/2" Analog tape recorder, tapes (AS IS) ($???)

This unit moves tape, but I haven't checked out the
electronics. It is too big and ugly for me to hang onto,
but I would like to see it go to someone who could use it.
P.S. It comes with LOTS of tapes...

7)	DEC LSI-11 system, with extras (AS IS) ($???)

This includes a couple of LSI-11 processor boards, some
memory, serial interfaces, a dual floppy drive, two
backplane/power supply combos, etc. I KNOW it's tired
iron, but it might just be useful to somebody. BTW, it
comes with RT-11 V04, HT-11, and an old version of UCSD
	Pascal.
