[net.math.symbolic] Symbolic Manipulators

We at Philips are contemplating the purchase of a symbolic manipulator.
We would appreciate any information as to the relative merits and user
experience of the many manipulators currently available: MACSYMA, SMP,
REDUCE, etc.

References to any such comparisons in the literature would be most welcome.
