This is for my father-in-law who has a TI pro and is a computer illiterate. (I am a TI pro illiterate). Has anyone converted some of the popular IBM PC software to be compatable with the TI pro? Or does anyone know of ways to do so? Or is anyone interested in doing so? Any help appreciated.

It is this reason that you may have to ask the maker of said software for a TIPC version since it will be rare that you find a TIPC version in the stores. Mind you a large variety of software written for the IBM do have TIPC versions. Btw, most IBM-PC software that doesn't do graphics or dink with the devices directly can be run on the TIPC by using the Emulator program that comes on the TI MS-DOS 2.x diskette. Unfortunately, this is a small selection of software. -Rusty- Disclaimer: This is not the official word from Texas Instruments, Incorporated - just my experience and knowledge. ================================================================ *hardcopy* *electr{onic, ic}* Rusty Haddock ARPA: Haddock%TI-CSL@CSNET-RELAY.ARPA POB 226015 M/S 238 CSNET: Haddock@TI-CSL Texas Instruments Inc.
