One of the best ways to clean windows, especially automobile windows is to use newspaper and water with no alcohol or cleaning solvents at all. There does seem to be some sort of chemical in the newsprint that aids in the cleaning and the result if done with any modicum of care at all, comes out streak free. Using the Sunday funnies, while they do work almost as well, tend to take longer than other pages, especially if you haven't finished reading them yet.
