[net.misc] gook babies etc.

W.R.T. my response to Tim Maroney's comment on Nestle and third world
countries,

-------------------------
"... Of course Reagan refused to cooperate. After all, American companies
are more important than gook babies, right? ..."
-------------------------

a number of people have pointed out that Tim's comment was intended to
be sarcastic. On going back over it, I'd agree. I was hasty, and I owe
Tim an apology.

No hard feelings, Tim!

I don't think Nestle is an American company. It's a European company.
American companies are capable of being nasty, but thats not one
of them.

Staying with the subject of Nestle', but getting away from the
baby formulas, I read an article in this weeks Newsweek about
chocolate. It said that Nestle' supplies 60% of all the choc-
	olate used by U.S. manufacturers.

	Wow!

Nestle is a Swiss company. The second e has an accent aigu, betraying
its French origin.

The Swiss press was not very supportive of Nestle in this affair, by
the way.
