From: David H M Spector <SPECTOR@NYU-CMCL1.ARPA> I have found a few interesting quirks in my copy of Macterminal (version 0.5). First off, it doesn't seem possible to launch MacTreminal by double clicking a Macterminal Document. I haven't checked it's documents with set file yet, but has anyone else seen this behaviour?? (Error: `Can't find an application to open this file....') Also, MacTerminal Documents from the older -0.15X version are incompatible with the newer 0.5 version. Secondly, Apple has switched from Modem7 to Xmodem for their xfer protocol. When I tried to transfer files from one of our Unix(4.2bsd) Vaxen using the NEW versions of Macput/get, I got lots of GetBlk Errors from Macterminal. has anyone else seen that? (The transfer ultimately FAILS.) Also, Terminal doesn't seem to remember when you tell it *NOT* to save lines off top. Even if you did a ``save'' right after you selected that option. - Dave Spector _____________________________________________________________________________. |ARPAnet: SPECTOR@NYU-CMCL1 / UUCP: ...allegra!cmcl2!spector | |US Mail: David HM Spector | | New York University, Academic Computing Facility/Systems Group | | 251 Mercer St, Rm. 329 | | New York, New York 10012 Phone (212)460-7287 | | -+-+-+ | |Any opinions expressed herein are my own and should not be considered | |those of my employer. | _____________________________________________________________________________. -------
