A couple of days ago I visited some friends who had one of those
ultrasonic noise makers which are supposed to drive away roaches, other
insects, and possibly mice, etc. I don't know about the mice, but the
group of about 10 roaches of all ages living on the speaker didn't seem
too terribly upset.
