From: Richard Furuta <Furuta@washington.arpa> A few comments on MacTerminal, 0.5 Beta. I find it quite distressing that MacTerminal insists that the disk be write enabled and that it have 8k free on it before it'll run. Is it possible to have MacTerminal gracefully handle the situation where it cannot write to the disk? I find it a little odd that MacTerminal saves the current screen across logins but fails to remember the current cursor position. This makes it hard for me to read all the login messages computer people are so fond of posting. I find it amusing that MacTerminal, in its quest for safety, will ask you when you quit if you want to save the current document and then trash it if you say "no". I wish that MacTerminal would either remember the size of the window or that it would resize the window when the status leds are being shown. Having to readjust the size of the window each time I start up is annoying. I really like the inclusion of the bold characters and the double sized characters. It is still difficult to read isolated reverse video characters. --Rick -------
