[fa.info-mac] Q: spooling print-files to disk?

From: Werner Uhrig <CMP.WERNER@UTEXAS-20.ARPA>
can someone enlighten me (us) how one can spool print files to disk rather
than the printer? I'd like to be able to spool output to a disk rather
than having to wait for that stupid printer. Hopefully, it would be
possible to swap in a special (mostly empty) disk and direct output there,
and print all those accumulated files at a later time all at once.

I have seen several references to "spooling" in InsideMac (which, ***FLAME***
BTW is an attrocity, not a product anyone should have to pay money for **OFF**)
and have been told that hitting the Interrupt "at the right moment" would stop
things and allow you to see a disk-file, which can then be printed with the
Printer-application.

I don't recall any postings explaining addressing this topic, pardon me if
I am wrong.
