From: Mark <G.BROWNVM=UN501386@Berkeley> To those who have Inside Macintosh from those of who don't: How, in assembly language, is basic i/o carried out? What are the addresses to read for input from the keyboard, and to what (and how) should characters be sent to the screen? I'm not interested (at this point) in graphics, I just want to be able to send a line of text to the screen and read from the keyboard. How is this implemented on the Macintosh? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. -Mark-
