From: Bob Cralle <cralle@lll-crg> Do u know how to remove CR's from a MacWrite paragraph so right justify will work? Apple, dumbly, seems to assume any document manipulated in MacWrite was typed in MacWrite, and not pasted from somewhere else! It is very painful to delete CR's singly from paragraphs, as you mite expect.

From: Bob Cralle <cralle@lll-crg.ARPA> That's the whole point--I have a document I didn't type. Presumably the whole idea of Mac, CUT and PASTE is that I can lay in some writing from god knows where AND get right justify, without removing all SINGLE CR's. Let's at least, if not dumb, say APPLE's correctable oversight.

From: Dick Kalagher <kalagher@mitre> You can remove CR's from incoming text by turning off "Retain line breaks" in the file transfer settings of Macterminal. Note that you can also add CR's to outgoing text by using "word wrap outgoing text". This is really nice for sending text files to mainframes.
