From: Mike Schuster <MIKES@CIT-20.ARPA> After seven months of moderate to heavy use, I noticed that the two plastic feet on the bottom of my mouse directly under the button were almost completely worn off, when compared to those on a brand new mouse. Furthermore, the black plastic ring holding the ball in place was also warn on the side facing the feet. As a result, the mouse does not lay squarely on the table, but rocks slightly side to side and front to back when dragged. So, to prolong the life of a mouse, it seems that one should grasp the side of the mouse and drag it lightly rather than resting your hand on top and pushing. As far as cleaning goes, I use cotton Q-tips and alcohol on the three rollers once a month, or so. Mike -------
