From: John Clark <clark@rand-unix> If you "eject" a Tecmar MacDrive 10Mb fixed hard disk, there is apparently no way to "reinsert" it except by rebooting. However, if you'd prefer not to have to do this, there is an easy workaround based on the ramdisk "RamStart" application posted recently to this bboard. Using RMover, cut the DRVR and INIT resources out of RamStart, leaving only the CODE resources. Copy the resources DRVR 5 .TDisk and INIT 4 from the Tecmar System file, and paste them into the aforementioned RamStart application. Exit RMover, and rename RamStart to something meaningful, like MDStart. You now have an application that can be put on the Tecmar MDSystemDisk, and, when launched (with MDSystemDisk the current startup disk), will "reinsert" an "ejected" hard disk. --John Clark clark@rand-unix
