From: Mark Zimmerman <mex101@mitre> Ralph L. Miller (70516,1366) on CompuServe has put out a good set of instructions for changing icons; I've tried them, and they work. They're too long to repeat here, but perhaps somebody can grab them and post them to the <INFO-MAC> archive, if they're not there already. The MAUG (Apple Users Group) file RLMICN.TXT gives the instructions; you also need ICONED, RMOVER, RLMICN.BAS, FEDIT, and a template tiny application stored as RLMICN.HEX in Binhex format. The process took me over an hour the first time (to create and install a new icon for the Amazing maze game, for my 2-year-old), but after you get the hang of it it gets faster. As RLM says, "Well, I never said it would be easy. Only that you could do it." - Z
