I do not object to dancing in the aisles, reasonable feedback from the audience, etc. at concerts. I do object to people standing on their chairs in front of me, rushing the stage and trying to climb up, and making so much noise (teenagers take note) that it is difficult to hear the performers clearly (not that most rock is clear to begin with, but I'm talking about concerts in general, not one band in particular). If I paid for a seat and a chance to hear/see/experience a group I like, I have the *right* to see/hear/experience them. You do not have a right to interfere because you are six feet tall and can block any reasonable attempts on my part to see, nor do you have a right to get your friends together in one long scream at 150 decibels per participant for two hours straight. It is nice to be able to go to a concert and sit and listen. This really does happen at folk concerts and some of the "soft rock" (I hate that term) stuff. Too bad it can't happen anywhere else. Have just a little consideration, will you? If all you get out of concerts is standing on chairs and screaming, get a large-screen TV and watch MTV. -Dragon -- UUCP: ...seismo!ut-sally!ut-ngp!lll-crg!dragon ARPA: monica.cellio@cmu-cs-cad or dragon@lll-crg
