For people looking for a good fast database, try Overvue from Provue.
As its ad states, it does sort 1000 records in 2 seconds. It is
fast and pretty user friendly. The current version is 1.0c.
For more powerful database, try Ominus 2, the new version 2.1 with the
mouse interface. The old version was terrible, but this is pretty
good, multi-user capabilities also! Password protection and much
more..check it out..
For you ICON editing people

This is how I edit icons, Use Rmover to find the icon and icn# of
the icons in the file. Write these numbers down. Next I use a
program called iconer (I believe it is public domain?) and
feed it the file name and the icon number and it shows me the
icon and allows me to edit it. Many applicatons contain a couple
icons, for instance Ms-basic has its desktop icon and one for
files it creates. After you edit the icon to your liking, you
can do 1 of two things..save it back with the same number
or save it under an unused number. I was told to save it under
a different number, why i do not know.. If you save it under a
different number, you must go into rmover, cut out the icon you
want to replace and rename the icnon you created to the same id# as the old one..If this confuses you,
you can contact me on a BBS and I can give assistance..
512k Upgrades

Rumor has it that Apple is either trashing or selling for scrap the
old 128k motherboards left over from upgrades. The dealers are
supposed to send the boards in for a $300 credit..I guess soe
dealers just dont care..
MacWrite Versions

Current prerelease version of Macwrite is version 3.3. I would
not use 3.17 or 3.2, they are full of bugs. Version 3.5 will
be the final? release? MacSpell right from Assimilation will
work with 3.3 and any version hence..
(Ramdisk, also from Assimilation is in the stores now...)
