From: Seymour <JOSEPH@RU-BLUE.ARPA> I have been recently flexing my file transfer muscles by downloading several resource files from your archives. All of the transfered items worked ok except for DAS.RSRC. This file is supposed to be accesible by the Resource Mover program right? I have done some previous resource hacking so I am pretty sure the problem is not on my end, but after repeated attempts to download this set of desk accessories, RMOVER still blows up every time I try to open this file. Could someone at Sumex check to make sure it made it to the INFO-MAC archive ok? If so, is there anything special I must do after MACPUTing the file to my Mac before I run RMOVER? Thanks for the Help Seymour Joseph -------

From: Bruce Schwartz <schwartz@Shasta> I also failed to get das.rsrc to work. However, when I downloaded das.hex and converted it to a resourse file with Binhex, I was then able to use Rmover to install the new desk accessaries. Also, can anyone tell me why there are three ASCII formats for Mac files: binhex (compressed and uncompressed) and fromhex. I suppose this is for historical reasons.
