The Macazine, published by Icon Concepts, looks to be an excellent
source of new information and articles about the mac and
mac products. The magazine has
an offer for former ST. Mac Subscribers: If you send your mailing label
from St. Mac you can get 4 issues free. For $18 and the label
you can get a years subscription + 4 issues. Charter rates are $18/year
(offer good til 1/1/85)
These are the people who also publish ICONCEPTS- The Macintosh User's monthly
newsletter.
It mentions some interesting things in one column:
Mr. Thom Hogan president of Macreations has announced that his book,
"Within Mac" will be released this December of this year through Robert
J. Brady Company, a subsidiary of Prentice-Hall. The book is reported to cover
the same material as Apple "Inside Macintosh" but promises to follow a new
and better organizational approach... with lots of examples.
Anybody seen this book?
Apple disk labels can be removed via: Turpentine, Methyl Hydrate, or
use Maxell Labels, they peel off easily. The first two methods are kind of
dangerous!
