From: singer@harvard.ARPA (Andrew Singer) I've hacked up the requested desk accessory to blank the Macintosh screen. It will leave it blank until a mouse click occurs. In order to work properly, it must save the screen somewhere before it blanks it so that it can restore it. If it can't find enough memory to do this, it just quits. This is vey likely to be the case on a 128K Mac. I tried it from within the Finder, and there wasn't enough memory (with only one mounted disk) by a few hundred bytes. On a Fat Mac it works fine. I therefore adapted it to run as an application, which simply blanks the screen until a click and then launches the Finder again (which repaints the screen).
