From: Stewart_French <french%ti-eg.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa> I view the finder as just another application program. I would like to see such things as * file copy * file delete * list directory(ies) * run an application moved into desk accesories. These functions are simply not that difficult to implement and should not be that large. It probably would not impact the system much if you got rid of those junkie little accesories such as the alarm clock, puzzle, calculator, etc. I only use the note-pad, control panel, and scrapbook regularly. I have my own watch (on my arm) and my light powered calculator (on my desk or in my pocket) and plenty of puzzles to keep me busy. I really don't need the icon junk either, and I KNOW the accesories could be implemented in such a way that it would not require ANY typing and not use icons! I would not have to use the finder at all this way. Good riddance! -Stewart French
