From: Elgin Lee <EHL@SU-SIERRA.ARPA> Please forgive me if this has been done previously, but would someone please post the contents of the Software Supplement? I am considering getting it and would like some idea of what's included. Thanks, Elgin -------

From: Thomas.Newton@cmu-cs-spice.arpa Did Apple send out a Supplement update for December? There are a number of files stored on Compuserve that claim to be "uploaded from the 12/84 Software Supplement with permission". However, the only Supplement update that I have received is the one for October/November. -- Thomas.Newton@cmu-cs-spice.ARPA

From: kato.SV@XEROX.ARPA Yes. There were several updates for IM (User Interface, Sound Driver, OS Event Manager, plus others), a new MacWorks disk, a Lisa and a Mac disk with the ImageWriter 15 driver on it, a Lisa disk with a new Maccom and new RMaker, and a Mac disk with REdit, a new Hard Disk Install program for MacWorks, and debuggers on it. The new MacWorks disk is one of my favorites in that when booting from it, MacWorks automaticallylooks for the hard disk and boots from it, eliminating the need to boot from the MacWorks System 3-1/2" disk first. From: Doug Brutlag <brutlag@SUMEX-AIM.ARPA> The Imagewriter 15 file allows you to use a 15 in Imagewriter platen, print accross page boundaries, print 1/2 size output and several other useful features. However the nicest thing about it is that they have fixed the long delays that you get when printing blank space in the High quality print mode. High quality printing is much faster and the printer carriage moves much less in all printing modes. Doug Brutlag -------
