The study mentioned above had one additional important ascpect to it. Before the study was begun, the astrologers and the researchers sat down together and decided on mutally agreed criteria for success and failure. I feel that this is important. The astrologers claimed to be able to accomplish task A. They agreed that if a set of events (1) came about, then they had accomplished A. They also agreed that if events (2) came about, that they had failed to accomplish A. Events (2) came about.
