"For this there are several possible explanations, including the likelihood
that I may be lying or deceived or insane." (James Gunn.) Okay, here's the
full story. (Drum roll, or suitable music for an anticlimax.)

I have a very good sense of balance. I can lean back in a chair, with only
the two back legs touching the floor, and hold that position (shifting my
weight when necessary) for some time. Last night while listening to PHC I
achieved 160 seconds, a new record. Of course, there were no witnesses.

What does this have to do with psi? Well, my point was that it's possible
that some psychic abilities do exist but can't be easily tested. This was
the best analogy I had -- I've tested myself for psi, but haven't gotten any
good results even with sloppy experiments. (Except for some limited success
with telepathy/remote viewing.)

My apologies to those who assumed I was claiming a psi talent. And as for
the suggested workarounds, some of them might work -- but considering the
nature of the ability, I doubt I'll ever bother to find out.
