[net.sci] Wait! Don't hit that 'f' key, hit 'r' instead

eugene@ames.UUCP (Eugene Miya) (07/15/86)

I had a lot of hope for net.sci. It's all gone, and I think I'll
unsubscribe after one more week. Its not the postings which
are like psi (between a few people, and I can hit the 'next' key).
It's the repetition and all the junk (cross-referencing to only-slightly
relevant groups) that get to me. In large part, some of this
can be eliminated by mailing the original author rather than follow
ups. Come-on people! Let's keep our act together. Or is this Lord of
the Flies? Send mail, not follow-ups and the first author can summarize.

[Do people on the net have intelligence? I wonder, especially
when people post follow-ups to places like net.wanted. That's
the next news group I'll unsubscribe from.]
