[net.math.stat] S-Users: What terminal would you recommend?

quf@stat-l (Steve Samuels) (09/18/84)

If you use S to drive an HP7470 pen-plotter attached to your
terminal, and if you're satisfied with the results, I'd
appreciate your letting me know what kind of terminal you
	have.

Try a Selanar. It will plot on its screen and on command dump
the hpgl commands to the HP plotter. Its fast and beats wasting
paper.

The Visual 500 also does what Bill L. says the Selanar does
(but 'what you see' is not always 'what you get'
when axis labels, titles, or "mtext"
are "too" close to the screen's edges.)
