[net.math.stat] Statistical software for MS-DOS machines

bates@uwstat.UUCP (12/04/84)

I am posting this for Terry Smith at Queen's University in
Canada. Queen's is going to be requiring all their incoming
Engineering students to have access to an MS-DOS micro starting
in Fall of '85. Terry is interested in any reviews, opinions,
experiences, etc. with statistical software on MS-DOS machines.

A BITNET address for Terry is SMITHJT%QUCDN so you can reach
him as
    SMITHJT%QUCDN.BITNET@WISCVM.ARPA
if you have access to ARPA. Otherwise I will forward mail to
him.

SPSS-PC is a great statistical package that runs on the PC.
