Some people have sent me mail and asked me to post updates on
"Days", so I will. I will probably just give a briefing of
events that have happened in the last few weeks to get us to
the present. Here goes:
P.S. I am assuming that the people who have asked me to post updates
are vaguely familiar with the characters on this soap.

Stehpano DiMera (sp?) was alive this whole past year and in
hiding. Everyone thought he had a heart attack last year, but
it turns out he faked it and he paid $50,000 to the doctor and
nurse and coroner to verify his death and then he had those
people killed. He had his nephew Andre wear a mask that looks
like Roman Brady and kill people in front of witnesses so that
people would think Roman was a cold blooded murderer. This was
Stehpano's revenge on Roman for trying to destroy Stephano's
empire, which he aquired through devious means. Now according to
a statment made by one of the character's just the other day,
these killings have been going on for eight or nine months. I
only started recording a couple months ago. A few really good
female characters were killed off, namely Renee DiMera and Kristen
Bradford. Renee was Stephano's daughter and Kristen was Eugene
Bradford's wife.
Okay, let's see...Andre had plastic surgery so that he would look
like Tony DiMera, who we all thought was Stephano's son, but it
turns out he wasn't. So Andre now looks like Tony (the actor
played a double role) and to carry out his revenge, Stephano has
the real Tony captured and the fake Tony take the real Tony's place.
The way Renee DiMera gets killed is...she gets frightened when the
fake Tony takes the real Tony's place and she starts saying that
something is different, etc. and then she gets hysterical and Andre
kills her. He also kills Kristen Bradford because somehow the DiMera's
and Bradfords are distantly related and Stephano just wants Eugene out
of the picture or he wants him to suffer, hence the murder of his
wife.
The fake Tony (nephew Andre) falls in love with Anna Brady (who used
to be married to the real Tony, but they divorced because she tricked
him into marrying her when he was really drunk) and so Anna just
thinks the real Tony is falling in love with her again and they make
plans to remarry after the "Concert". The concert is the really big
finale and I will come to that later. Stephano's ultimate revenge is
supposed to take place at the concert and everything really leads up
to that.
During all this, the real Roman Brady (the honest, hardworking cop
who really hasn't killed anyone, but has been framed by Stephano)
is arrested, then has a fake heart attack and escapes jail, then
stages his own death so he can get everyone off his back so that
he can find out who is donning a mask that looks like his face and
killing people. He is underground this whole time. His wife Marlena
Evans Brady is scared most of the time for his safety, but she cannot
let anyone know he is alive so she alienates herself, except for the
other people who know Roman is alive too, namely his brother Bo Brady
and everyone's friend, Eugene Bradford.
Bo Brady and Hope Williams had fallen in love and everything was
wonderful with them, but the fake Tony dons Roman's face mask and
tries to kill Hope and so Bo knows that he must seperate from Hope
for her own safety. So he tells her he wants her out of his life.
Also, before this, on Hope's 18th birthday, she follows Bo to his
place with visions of seducing him on her mind, but her overprotective
father Doug Williams, owner of "Doug's Place", follows *her* and he
finds them in bed together, even though they haven't done anything
yet and he has a heart attack (a real one this time). So Hope is
really afraid of upsetting her father so she sneaks around to see Bo,
that is, until Bo says she has to get out of his life.
Doug and Julie go on a cruise after Doug's heart attack to give him
a rest and they have been off the show now for about two months. Some
cruise! I think they are coming back soon though. In this time, Hope
has been on the rebound from Bo's rejection and she has hitched up
to Larry Welch, District Attorney for the city of Salem. He is only
using Hope though, for his image. She is very rich because of an
inheritance and she comes from a good family, etc. Larry is very
ambitious and keeps talking about being in the White House one day.
He proposed to her the other day. He is backed by some "movers and
shakers" who suggested very strongly that he do so. So she is
pondering the situation, but you can still see she loves Bo Brady.

God, this has really turned into a novel. How about if I continue this
saga tomorrow. I have gone back a few months I think, instead of a
few weeks. I will get all caught up tomorrow or the next day though,
or the next day or the next... Let me know if any of this makes any
sense. If it doesn't, maybe someone can suggest how I can deliver
a better update. This is the first time I ever updated anything and
it looks like I got carried away a bit. There is just so much to
tell!
