Let's see, where should I start today.... Okay, let's get to the concert, which was the really big event happening on this soap during the past couple months. The Benefit Concert was being held because Stephano DiMera needed a vehicle for his ultimate revenge on Roman Brady. That was behind the scenes. No one knew that Stephano was alive, except the people doing his dirty work for him. The people of Salem thought the concert was for a new physciatric wing at the Hospital, to be headed by Dr. Marlena Evans Brady. Al Jareu (sp?) the singer, guest starred on the show as himself. He was one of the main attractions of the concert. Liz Chandler also sang at the concert, she and Al Jareau performed a song together. At the concert hall, Stephano is hiding in a props room and he is disquised as the orchestra leader. He has Andre don the Roman Brady mask and when Marlena is up on the stage thanking everyone for the new physc. wing, Andre is supposed to murder her on stage in front of all of Salem and then everyone will think it is Roman who did it and that is Stephano's revenge. During this time, the real Roman Brady is on his way to the concert hall to try and save his wife. Alex Marshall is on the stage with Marlena and when Andre comes up on stage, Alex trips him with the mike cord and so the attempt fails. If the plan failed, Stephano had a bomb planted under the stage at the concert hall and he starts it going when he finds out the attempt failed. Eugene Bradford defuses the bomb three seconds before it goes off. Then the whole place is in chaos because everyone saw Andre up on stage trying to kill Marlena and during the confusion he disappears. Then Stephano escapes from the concert hall with his employed hit man and little do they know that Alex Marshall is in the back of the car passed out drunk. He mistook Stephano's car for his. They are getting away in the car, but the real Roman Brady is hot on their trail in a helocopter. Alex spills some champagne in the face of the hit man driver and the car goes off the road into the Salem river. Well, Alex gets out but Stephano and his hired killer have not been found yet (as of yesterday, May 16). The real Roman Brady is cleared of all charges of all of the killings that everyone thought he did and he and Marlena can finally live a "normal" life. Marlena is also pregnant with Roman's child. So they are all squared away now. Alex Marshall is the local hero for saving Marlena's life on the stage of the concert. The fake Tony (Andre) and the real Tony get into a fight at the concert hall after all the people are cleared out and they are both wounded. During this whole time that the fake Tony was out and about posing as the real Tony, the real Tony has been locked up in a room behind a moving wall in the Penthouse where Tony lives. (This whole thing sounds BIZARE, I know, but it has been such fun escapist entertainment watching it the past couple months). Well, Eugene freed Tony and they went to the concert hall where Gene difused the bomb and Tony and Andre got into the fight. As of yesterday, the real Tony is in the hospital and Andre escaped while he was being transferred from the hospital to jail. Another of Stephano's accomplices helped Andre escape, so now all of the bad guys are still at large. I am just wondering how long they are going to try and milk this thing! Anyway, now Anna is trying to make the real Tony fall back in love with her. She thought that Andre was the real Tony and they were going to get married but then everything fell apart. The real Tony does not love Anna though, because when they were married the first time, she tricked him into marrying her and he hated her for that. So as of yesterday, those two are still up in the air about what is going to happen to their relationship. Bo Brady (Roman's younger brother) saw Stephano escaping from the concert hall and he tried to stop them and the hired killer shot him. He is now in the hospital and he can not feel his legs because the bullet touched his spine and caused some pressure there. He did not want anyone to see him at all, but his father finally got in. Bo was really waiting for Hope to come and see him, but she was in Las Vegas with Larry Welch and she didn't know about it. When she did finally find out, she ran to the hospital and tried to see Bo, but they wouldn't let her. There was a friend of Bo's named Diane at the hospital and she told Hope that Bo did not want to see anyone but Megan, his old girlfriend, who supposedly just came back into town after a long time, but we the audience have not seen her yet. So Hope falls apart and goes to the D.A.'s office (Larry) and tells him that she will marry him. He proposed to her in Vegas. We all know she is still in love with Bo though, so this is probably going to be a disaster. Hope told Larry that she would marry him yesterday (May 16) so I am sort of getting caught up here. I will stop here today and fill in some more gaps tomorrow. Sorry about the length again and the long, running sentences.
