Nick was Erica's second (maybe 3rd?) husband. He originally owned the Chateau and he and Erica started a torrid affair while she was the hostess there. The main point about Nicky and Erica's marriage is that he was a good 20 years older than she was and was essentially playing a father figure to her. Nick sold the Chateau to Unirest, then got promoted up their corporate ladder and to Chicago. He is now a VP in Unirest and was last seen a few months ago visiting Erica in jail. (It was even the same actor, which is nice.) I don't remember exactly why their marriage broke up, but it seemed that everyone knew it was doomed from the start. Erica still has very strong feelings for Nick, and if you had to pick a love of her life, it would be he. Nick is also a very good friend of Mona's. (SPOILER IN THIS PARAGRAPH) Maybe our summary poster was just kidding around, but of course it's not Adam's wife that's in the attic, (actually the west wing) it's his twin brother, Willy.
