Bobbie's mother was Sybil Thorn, a student nurse at Pine Valley Hosp. She got Cliff on the rebound when Palmer managed to break Cliff and Nina up shortly before their marriage. Sybil was killed by Shawn Cuddehey (Tom's brother) Ray Gardner is Tad Martin's real father. Many years ago he and his family were traveling through the mountains and Tad broke his leg. Apparently Ray got tired of him so they abandoned him. Tad was brought into Pine Valley Hosp. for treatment where he was befriended by Mary Kennecott. Once Jeff Martin got rid of Erica he married Mary and they were thinking about adopting Tad. However Mary was killed by burglers so Tad went to live with Ruth and Joe Martin. Ray Gardner was first heard of when Ruth and Joe deceided to adopt Tad. Ray wanted a large sum of money to sign the adoption papers.Along the way he also kidnaped Tad and held him for ransom and raped Ruth. The wife-beater was Carrie Sanders' dad. The wife he beat was Carrie's step-mom. I think her name was Marion. This is who Joe had an affair with. When Ruth found out she was going to leave him and for some odd reason Tad decieded it was all his fault and ran away from home. Years before this Ruth had an affair with a doctor named Davis Thorton. He was Edna's first husband and Dottie's dad. Here are some more people to think about... He came to live with Charles and Phoebe shortly after Charles married Phoebe. Chuck is Charles grandson and Phoebe's step-grandson.

OK, I have a question. Nancy Grant was to marry an old friend just after her
divorce from Frank. The man in question was white and died (in a plane
crash or gun shot or something terrible like that) before they were married.
I don't think it was Carl. Can anyone be of assistance? Thanks.
BTW, there is also Jesse's mother (Frank's sister) who died shortly after
Jesse came into the picture. I think her name was Jean(?). Or was it
Ruby(?). I wish my brain would work.
