+ AMC Thursday July 19 - Friday July 20 Cliff and Linda have lunch, discuss their problems and make some peace. Linda meets Chris later and discovers that he has been fired from his job at the Bulletin for forging a letter of recommendation from Craig Adams for his novel which was rejected by a publishing house. Erica receives a call from Harris Kearns at Mike's. Harris tells her that Adam has bought controlling interest in Erica Kane Cosmetics. Mike shows Erica the dedication of his book "To Erica Kane, with love and gratitude." Olga stops by Erica's and finds Adam waiting. Mike's book arrives for Erica and Adam sees the dedication which infuriates him. Erica persuades Mike to kill his story on Stuart. Then, Erica returns to her apartment and Olga arrives shortly afterward and asks her if they are going to be fired now that Adam owns EK Cosmetics. Adam arrives back at the apartment and Erica confronts him about her company. Adam tells her that he bought controlling interest to keep another conglomerate (Greenbriar Group) from taking over her company. Meanwhile, Mike finds out from his agent that his book has been pulled off the shelves by Adam's orders. Mike goes to NeXuS where Adam and Erica are having dinner and confronts Adam. Mike punches Adam and then grabs Erica's hand "Let's get out of here!" Tad goes to the Tyler estate to visit Hillary and they spend the afternoon by the pool. Meanwhile, Edna asks Langley to organize the debutante ball she is having for Dottie and Langley agrees. When Edna returns home, Dottie tells her that unless Tad is her escort, she won't go to the ball. Edna goes to the Tyler estate and tells Tad that unless he escorts Dottie, she will tell Hillary that she used to pay him to date Dottie. Jenny tells Greg that she has had a premonition that something bad is going to happen to them at Willow Lake. Greg reassures her and then goes to meet Tony for lunch. Jenny tells Angie that she is frightened by Tony's behavior. After lunch, Tony talks to Stan about a "movie stunt" and he purchases a special bomb with a timer device. Liza interviews for a job at WRCW and gets it. She tells Tony that she has to start tomorrow morning and won't be able to go with him to Willow Lake. After she leaves, Tony starts smashing things in his apartment and keeps saying "I gotta kill Greg!!" Jesse tells Angie he has to go to a meeting of his fan club to sign autographs, which upsets Angie. When Jesse gets to the Steam Pit, only Susie shows up for the fan club meeting and then she kisses him. Jesse kisses her back, just as Greg walks in. Greg leaves in disgust after seeing Jesse and Susie. Jesse finally pulls himself away from Susie and she gives him her phone number. He returns home to take care of Frankie while Angie goes to class. Angie returns and is upset because Jesse was listening to his headphones while alone in the house with the baby. Jesse tries to talk her into going to bed with him for awhile, but she rebuffs his advances irritably. Jesse goes to the Steam Pit and calls Susie and asks her to meet him after the Steam Pit closes that night. --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle
