+ Ryan's Hope Monday July 23 - Friday July 27 Jacqueline tells Maggie that Prince is dead. Maggie goes to Max' bedroom and there she sees the section of coin that he has intentionally left lying around for her to see. He gives her diamond earrings and rings to wear to the party. Max is setting her up to trap her by getting her to steal the coin. Dave stops by and gives her his grandmother's engagement ring to wear to the party. The guest all arrive and the party is under way while Dave returns to the deli to wait. The party for the Ed Coleridge hospital wing: Roger tells Delia that she'd better work on Maggie. Delia follows Maggie around and tells her that she'd be better off marrying a doctor like Roger. Jill is in her element and has a very good time at the party. Jeremy is very hostile to Maggie (he believes she is sleeping with him). Jeremy presses Maggie to steal the coin, but Maggie is very frightened. Jeremy sneaks into Max' room to look for coin. Max tells Hutch about Prince being dead. Roger drinks too much and keeps referring to the auctioning off of Maggie Shelby. Max wants Pat to run the auction, but Roger insists on doing it himself. Roger, "Who'll bid for Miss Shelby, uh, her gown." Jill, "He didn't have to say that." Yashita buys Leigh's pearl bedecked gown for $250,000. Max buys Maggie's dress for $400,000 and then gives it to her. Jill doesn't want Maggie to take the dress, but Frank defends her. Dave arrives at St. Patricks and waits for Maggie. Meanwhile, Maggie and Leigh change in Max' room. Leigh searches for the coin, but can't find it. Jill asks Max not to stop Maggie from leaving. Maggie later tells Max that she can't accept the dress. Hutch talks to Maggie about Frank and things that "Frank would be better off not knowing." Maggie overhears Max talking to Jacqueline "If Maggie talks to Fenelli, it will ruin Frank Ryan and he will go to prison." Jacqueline, "leaving you with the woman he loves." Maggie decides to steal the coin to save Frank. She goes to Max' room and finds the coin lying on the dresser. She grabs it and then Max comes in. Seneca calls Bill and tells him that Matthew is talking. Steven tells Delia that if Roger doesn't tell Matthew about them, he will. Delia goes to the hospital and Bill tells her that if Matthew sticks to the murder story, he has a warrant for her arrest. Matthew asks Delia why she left him without his pills on their wedding night. Rick and Pru talk outside. Rick tells her that he has killed someone. Pru presses him to tell her what happened, but he won't. She tells him how her father tried to molest her (as he had her sister). Rick tells her how his older brother drowned trying to save him and that his father never forgave him for that. As Rick and Pru are returning to the deli, 2 hoodlums grab Rick and demand to know where he "got it." [Ryan's Hope will not return until after the Olympics] --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle
