+ All My Children Monday August 13 - Wednesday August 15 Zach stops by Donna's to pick up his things and he tells her that he is working at Cortlandt Manor now. While he is there, Tom calls and invites her to have dinner with him at the Goal Post and Donna eagerly accepts. Langley and Marian go to the Goal Post for dinner. Shortly after they arrive, Phoebe and hizzoner Leo Heller arrive at the GP since they weren't able to get in the Chateau without a reservation. Phoebe is very unhappy when she sees Langley and asks Leo to take her home. Marian and Langley have a very enjoyable dinner. Adam waits in Erica's room for Erica who is in the hotel bar with Mike. As they are going to her room, Mike decides that he needs a NY Times [if anyone thinks that any man would delay going to bed with Erica for a newspaper...!] and returns downstairs for it. Erica goes inside and is shocked to find Adam there. She tells him she has to take a lipstick sample downstairs and she quickly tells Mike to disappear. Erica and Adam return to Pine Valley where Joanna has discovered that Mike was also in Mexico. She calls his agent, disguises her voice, and discovers that Mike was also in Mexico City at the El Dorado hotel. Joanna tries to impart this information to Adam, but Adam is suffering from one of his migraines and tells her to keep it to herself. Erica goes to see Mark, and tells him about her affair with Mike. Mark warns Erica "You're playing with dynamite!" When Erica returns home, she finds Joanna unpacking her suitcase. Erica tells her to leave, not knowing that Joanna found a souvenir from the El Dorado hotel (Erica was staying at the Maximillian). Palmer stops by Cliff and Nina's and tells Cliff that he thinks Nina is devoting herself to Bobbi. Palmer asks Cliff to have Nina stop by to see him when she is free. Linda tells Cliff that she wants to try harder to get along with him and Nina. After Cliff leaves, Linda cons Nina into believing that she wants to change. Nina goes to see her father, who asks her to return to Cortlandt Electronics as President. He also tells her that he plans to ask Ross to work with her there. Nina is doubtful about Ross, but she eagerly agrees to return to CE. Nina returns home and discovers Chris in the living room waiting for Linda. Nina is furious and demands that they leave. Nina storms over to WRCW and interrupts Cliff and Liza who are timing his delivery for the night's show. Nina tells Cliff that something has to be done about Linda. Cliff tells her that she is going to have to be more understanding of Linda AND Chris. Nina later tells Cliff that she wants to return to work and Cliff tells her that he isn't against it. Dr. Joe Martin tells Greg that Jenny is conscious and is asking for him. Jenny tells Greg that he has to accept the fact that she is going to die. Then she dies. Later, at his mother's house, Greg is comforted by Alfred who just arrived home from Paris. The Nelson home is being besieged by reporters wanting to see Greg about Jenny. Greg angrily throws one reporter off his porch. Meanwhile, Liza stuns Tony with the news of Jenny's death. Tony becomes furious "Greg killed her!" Greg decides to return to he and Jenny's apartment. While there, Sheriff Fields (of Willow Lake) calls Greg and tells him that they are starting an investigation into Jenny's death. He also tells him that they are going to dredge up the Power ski. Meanwhile, Murray puts the squeeze on Jesse for his next payment. Jesse offers him the cash receipts from the previous evening, but it is short (due in part to Chris helping himself to some of the cash). Murray threatens Jesse and Jesse grabs him and throws him out of the office. Jesse returns home and is awakened to the danger of the situation when Angie and Frankie are nearly killed by a car. Jesse, "I'll kill him." Jesse calls Murray and asks him to meet him at the Steam Pit. When Murray arrives, Jesse attacks him, but Murray's thugs grab Jesse and work him over. Murray forces Jesse to sign over his share of the Steam Pit. Angie arrives and sadly takes Jesse home. [BTW, Jesse signed the contract with his left hand, however, even if he was right-handed, I think it would still be binding.] Hillary comforts a distraught Tad. Tad, "Jenny is the only person who believed in me." Hillary, "I believe in you Tad. Loving you is the most important thing in my life!" --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle
