+ Ryan's Hope Monday August 13 - Wednesday August 15 Max finds Maggie in his room, "then you've decided not to marry Dave?" Maggie, "Yes." Max kisses Maggie, then Maggie replaces the coin on the dresser, then kisses Max back. Max and Maggie make love. [Maggie somehow thinks she is doing this for Frank, to protect him from Max] Dave gets tired of waiting for Maggie at St. Pat's and goes to Parnassis towers where he demands to see Maggie. Jacqueline knocks on Max' door and asks Maggie what she wants to tell Dave. Maggie gives her Dave's ring and Hutch returns it to Dave. Dave refuses to leave without seeing Maggie. Maggie comes down the stairs and tells Dave, "Max bought me a $400,000 dress tonight. What could you possibly give me to compare to that?" Dave returns to the deli and begins destroying all the pictures of Maggie that were all over the walls. Maeve arrives at the deli the next morning to find Dave furiously destroying anything that reminds him of Maggie. She goes to the Coleridge house and tells Frank and Jill. Frank immediately rushes over to Parnassis towers. Meanwhile, Max tells Maggie that they are going to Nice and that she won't be able to call anyone since the phones are conveniently out of order. Max and Maggie leave for Nice. All Maggie takes with her is her stuffed Koala (which Dave gave her). Frank demands that Jacqueline tell him what happened and Jacqueline tells him that Maggie and Max had been having an affair for quite some time. Frank is stunned and doesn't want to believe her. He returns home to find a jubilant Roger who has been planting suspicions in Jill's mind. Frank tells Jill and Roger about Maggie leaving for Nice. Roger needles Frank, "We've heard the $400,000 question - How far will Maggie go?...All the way." Frank explodes with anger. He tells Jill, "My son and I are leaving this house now and if you want to stay married, come with me!" Dave goes to the gym to work off his anger, but Laslo stops him from beating up on one of the other patrons. Laslo calms Dave down and tells him that he should go after Maggie. Laslo goes to see Jacqueline who accuses him of betraying her father to Jack Fenelli. Laslo, "I only want to know one thing - who killed Joey?!" Jacqueline apologizes. Laslo asks about Maggie and Jacqueline tells him about finding her in bed with Max. Rick and Pru repelled the hoods who were attacking them and returned to the deli and shared a kiss. The next morning, Rick tells Pru that he saw the guys outside Bill's apartment and that he is going to find out what they want. Matthew regains consciousness and Delia is overjoyed to learn that he wasn't saying "Murder", but "Murdoch". Murdoch is his attorney. Matthew wanted to get his will changed so that Delia would inherit everything. Delia tells Matthew that she was with Roger on their wedding night. --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle
