+ Ryan's Hope Monday August 20 - Wednesday August 22 Siobhan writes a letter to her baby Sean about his father Joe. Bill arrives and reads it. He realizes that Siobhan is never going to let go of Joe. Siobhan tells him that she believes Joe is still alive. Later, Siobhan goes to see her father John, and tells him that Joe Novak is Sean's father. She also tells him that she believes that he is still alive. Dave returns to the deli and Pru gives him back the ring she retrieved from the floor. Dave tells her that he is patient and he will wait for Maggie to return to him. Pru writes Maggie a letter and Dave asks her to take the ring back to Maggie, unaware that she is in Nice with Max. Max questions Maggie on why she really came to his room, "You were trying to steal the coin, weren't you?" Maggie tells him that she had realized that she still loved Frank and that she wouldn't be happy with Dave, while she could be happy with Max. Max wants to believe her, but he needs proof. He tells Hutch, "I've got her with me now - I want to keep it that way..." Hutch, "...until you have to dispose of her." Maggie snoops in Max' control center. Hutch warns Maggie that something could happen to her deli friends if she crosses him. Later, Max finds Maggie snooping some more in the control center. Max warns Maggie about the alarm system and the armed guards. Then he and Maggie join the party in progress where Max' socialite friends are comparing Maggie to her sister Jill. Hutch brings Max the news that Yoshita has been killed in a plane crash. Max decides to return to New York. Bill and Rick fight because Rick won't go with him to see his mother. Bill wakes Rick in the morning because of his court appearance and then leaves. Shortly after he leaves, the hoods arrive and beat Rick up and trash Bill's apartment. They demand the location of the car, but Rick doesn't know where it is. They leave the message "We'll be back punk" on the wall in spray paint. Bill returns to find Rick unconscious. Kenny arrives and starts working on finding out who did it. Bill accuses Rick of being involved in drug trafficking, but Rick denies it. However, Bill dredges up old memories by accusing Rick of being responsible for his brother's and his father's deaths. Rick goes to see Pru who wants to help him. Bob is suspicious of Delia's feelings towards Matthew. He asks her, "Who do you love?" Steven arrives, and pretends to just be a friend of Delia's. Elliot T. Murdoch (Matthew's lawyer) arrives with the will in which Delia is named Matt's sole heir. Steven leaves after agreeing to return soon and see Delia. Delia rushes Bob out, although Bob is suspicious of Steven. Steven returns and mentions to Delia that she may have subconsciously tried to kill Matthew by withholding his pills. Delia is furious and hurt by this accusation. Delia, "How can I be with you, if he needs me?" Steven, "Where there's a will, there's a way." Delia doesn't think it's funny. She tells Steven that she is going to devote herself to helping Matt recover. Steven tells her to come to him in 3 days or else.
