+ All My Children Monday September 3 - Friday September 7 [My notes came up missing, so I'll have to do this from memory] [This part is first because I consider it to be one of the truly sad events to happen on AMC recently] Bonkers (Daisy Cortlandt's cat) is dead. He died suddenly without warning. Daisy is nearly in hysterics and is furious with Palmer for being out pursuing Ross when Bonkers took ill. Adam signs his holdings over to Joanna and then plans a trip to South America. Joanna tours Erica's jet (which Adam is flying to SA) and plants something in the luggage compartment. As Ross and Joanna talk at the mansion, Ross receives the news that Adam's plane exploded over the ocean with no survivors. Joanna feigns shock, but is secretly looking forward to Erica discovering the terms of Adam's will. Erica, upon hearing the news from Olga in Switzerland, immediately flies to the area to oversee the search for Adam, although Mike is against her leaving. Palmer had promised to spend the afternoon with Nina, but when he hears the news that Adam is dead, he rushes to be at Ross' side. Ross, however tells him that he wishes to have nothing to do with him. Palmer goes to see Nina who is furious with him for neglecting her. Greg presses Judy for the truth and she admits that Tony didn't arrive home until 4 on the day of Jenny's accident. Greg asks Jesse and Liza to keep Tony from leaving until he discovers evidence that will prove that Tony tampered with the power ski. Liza persuades Tony to go on a picnic with her to the country, but Judy arrives. Liza listens from the next booth (at McKay's, of course) and overhears Tony admit his guilt. Tony decides to leave the country but Judy won't give him any money. Tony goes to NYC to see Olga and ask her for money, but when he gets there, Olga is being interviewed at channel 3. Tony rushes over to the channel 3 studios feverishly. Meanwhile, Greg has found a service station attendant who recognized Tony's picture and remembered that all Tony wanted were directions to Willow Lake. Greg rushes to NYC in hot pursuit of Tony. He comes upon him waiting at channel 3 (Olga is on the air and Tony was barred from the studio) and chases Tony into the station. Edna fumes that Joe won't force Tad to marry Dottie, while on the other hand... Hillary is shocked to learn of Dottie being pregnant by Tad. She is also latter very upset when she Tad tells her that Dottie is planning to have an abortion only to hear from Dottie that she is definitely planning to have the baby. Dottie asks Hillary to tell Tad that marrying her is the *right* thing to do. Langley schemes with Marian to make Phoebe become jealous and awaken to her feelings for him by having Marian tell Phoebe that she is in love with Langley. Phoebe tells her that she can have him. Chuck says farewell to Donna and warns her that Tom could hurt her. Donna waivers on whether to continue seeing Tom.
