+ Ryan's Hope Monday September 3 - Friday September 7 Maggie continues to play out her act of being completely Max' mistress while she tries to find a way to stop him from hurting Frank. Jacqueline is very suspicious and searches Maggie's room. Maggie insists that Max order her to apologize and Max does. He sets trap for Maggie by leaving his section of coin in her bed, but Maggie is too sly and returns the coin to him. Maggie finds Max' key to the surveillance room and uses the cameras to pinpoint which areas of the house can't be observed by the cameras. She uses the alcove in her bedroom to write her true feelings in her diary and also to conceal her diary. Laslo's continued defending of Maggie angers Jacqueline, but Laslo believes in Maggie. Dave goes to see Maggie and tells her that he has to be married by Christmas if he is going to adopt Rico, but Maggie tells him (knowing that she is on camera) that she can't marry him. Dave presses her for a reason, but she tells him that she can't. Max and Jacqueline watch from the SR and Jacqueline is only more suspicious than ever, while Max wants to believe Maggie. Max suspects that Dave is Maggie's contact. Frank and Jill fight after Jill finds out from her mother that she (Bess) had interrupted Maggie and Frank in the throes of passion. Jill asks him would he have slept with her and Frank says, "I don't know." Frank and Jill both now believe that Maggie is indeed the tramp that she seems to be. Delia pretends to Steven that she has avoided sleeping with Matthew and Steven surprises her by showing up at the Ryan's (just as Delia was leaving) to begin work on the mural for Ryan's Bar. Delia decides to have a cocktail party and invites Max to be the guest of honor. Rick finds that his case has been re-assigned to a judge who is likely to throw the book at him and Pru makes it clear to Rick that she is firmly in his corner. --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle
