All you Days of Our Lives Fans will be happy to hear that Marie Carey's updates are back on the net. She is sending them to me through the mail and I will be posting them to the net. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, July 2nd Liz gets cold feet and is upset about having to leave her husband and baby. She and Carlo are on a plane to Vegas and Carlo puts his arm around Liz to comfort her. Liz gets into a party mood once in Vegas and attributes her earlier hesitation to headline Vegas as just nervousness. Tess and Chris can't seem to get their relationship off the ground. He wants one, but Tess backs off every time Chris tries to get emotionally close to her. Tess wants to move out to California and she asks Pete if he has any money she can borrow to get there with. Bo asks Meagan where their child is. Meagan does not want to tell him. The baby was a boy, but Meagan's mother made her give the baby up for adoption when it was born. Meagan never saw the child and she was forced to sign papers stating that she would never try to get in contact with the child. Bo vows to find the child if it's the last thing he does. Speed tells Pete that "Rip" (sorry, I thought his name was "Riff"), the leader of the Warriors gang, will pay for what he did to Pete and Melissa at Chris's boat house. Pete tells Speed that he will take care of Rip himself. Maxwell walks in on Bo shouting at Meagan as they are arguing about the adoption, etc. and he asks Bo why he is shouting at his daughter. Apparently Maxwell does not know his daughter had a child and gave it up for adoption. Melissa's father Mickey, tells Pete that as long as he stays in the Viper's gang, he will be forbidden to see Melissa. Maxwell has his sights set on Bo. He wants to bring Bo into his "family", both professionally and personally. Speed informs Pete that the Warriors declared gang war on the Vipers starting July 4th. Speed pulls out the guns that Carlo bought to be sent to his country and tells Pete that the Vipers are prepared. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, July 3rd Hope calls for a housekeeper and Larry tries to stop her. She calls again when he goes to the office and procures one. Larry comes home and sees the housekeeper and gets rid of her. Hope tells Larry that she despises him and that she will not clean up after him and that she will have a maid if it is the last thing she does. Larry does not want a maid because he says they gossip and he does not want anyone to know that he and Hope have separate bedrooms. Bo confronts Roman about Meagan's pregnancy. Apparently Meagan told Roman she was pregnant after Bo went into the Merchant Marines because she had no one else to turn to at the time. Bo is mad because Roman never told him about it. Roman tells Bo that Meagan never had the child. When they find Meagan, Meagan tells them that she lied to Roman so that he would not get in contact with Bo and tell him that Meagan was pregnant. Meagan did not want Bo to come back to her because of a child. She thought that Bo had left her, but again, it was her mother that broke them up with her lies and deception. Melissa tells Pete that she knows about the guns that the Vipers have to fight the gang war with. She tries to convince Pete not to go through with it. Melissa tells Pete that she can go to the police and they will help them stop the rumble that is to happen between the Vipers and the Warriors. Pete makes Melissa promise that she will not go to the police. He tells her that he will find a way to take care of things. Melissa tells her mother that Pete loves her and Maggie asks Melissa if she loves Pete. She doesn't answer. Hope asks her grandmother about Bo and if he is doing alright. Alice asks Hope why she would be asking about Bo if she were happily married. Alice suspects that Hope's marriage to Larry is not what it appears to be. Bo and Meagan run into Hope and Alice in the park. After they exchange niceties and go on their way, Meagan tells Bo that she is really sorry that his relationship did not work out with Hope. She is sincere in her sympathy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday, July 4th Bo and Hope run into one another at the Fourth of July party in the park. Hope is sad that Bo is with Meagan and that he appears to be having a good time. Meagan and Bo discuss finding their child and what it would be like to be parents. They agree that it will take some getting used to. Pete tries to talk the Warriors and Vipers out of the gang war, but he is pressured by his peers to have the war. It is on for that night in the alley behind Shenanigan's. Melissa is in a panic about Pete being in the rumble and she tells her father all about the rumble and the guns that will be involved. She tells her father that Pete may be killed and she asks him to call the police and help to stop the rumble. Mickey goes to where the rumble is going to take place. Melissa and Maggie ask Bo to take them there also. Tess steals some money from the cash drawer at Shenanigan's so that she can buy a plane ticket to California. She says good bye to Pete. Tess goes to get on plane at airport and she sees Chris there at the airport. He has come after her. She tells him that she stole the money and that she will repay him and then runs for the plane. Chris tries to go after her but he is detained at the gate because he has no plane ticket. Liz is a smash in Vegas. She hugs Carlo and tells him she wants him to stay with her forever as her assistant. Speed gets shot at the rumble. Pete takes Speed's gun and starts shooting at what he thinks is Rip, the leader of the rival gang. He accidently shoots Mickey Horton in the stomach. Melissa sees the entire incident as she runs down to where Pete is at in the alley. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Thursday, July 5th The police arrive at the rumble and arrest all the gang members from both gangs. Mickey Horton is rushed to the hospital. Pete is arrested with the others and Melissa turns away from him as he is being taken away. Melissa goes to the hospital with her father and mother, Maggie. Speed is rushed to the hospital also. Gwen and Larry are in bed together. Larry tries to talk Gwen into dating Eugene so that they can use him as a cover so that no one suspects them of seeing one another. Larry tells Gwen that he is in love with her. Gwen tells Larry that no man has ever told her that they loved her before and that she is happier now than she has ever been in her life. Gwen voices her concern over the fact that Larry's political backers might find out about their affair. Larry reassures her that they will not find out and if they do, he can do what he wants with his private life, as long as he is discreet, it is his political life that his backers are interested in. Tess did not go to California after all. She got off the plane at the last minute and went to Chris's house. She is there when he gets home. Tess tells Chris that she loves him and that she has been fighting her feelings for him the whole time. She tells him that she really does not have a boy friend in California, she just made that up to have an excuse to leave Salem. Chris tells Tess that he loves her also and that he has not told anyone that in a long time and that if he says it, he means it. They get the phone call that Pete is in jail and they go to the police station. Lacy Parker turns out to be a police officer working undercover as a prostitute. Abe thought she was a prostitute and it bummed him out totally. It really surprises him to find out that she is a cop and it surprises him even more when he finds out that Lacy is going to be his new partner. Melissa blames herself for her father being shot. Her mother asks her if she saw who may have shot Mickey and Melissa tells her mother that it was dark and there were so many guns going off that she was confused and she really didn't see anything. Tess and Chris ask Pete if he knows who shot Mickey Horton and he says that he does not know anything, that it was dark and there was so much happening, etc. Pete asks Tess and Chris to go to the hospital to check on Melissa and tell her that he is sorry about everything. Tess finds Melissa and gives her the message from Pete. Melissa tells Tess that she doesn't think any of it is Pete's fault. Mickey comes through the surgery fine and is in recovery. Marie tells Howie that she was a nun and he thinks she is joking. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday, July 6th Did not record this day. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie Carey ...seismo!carey

----------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, July 9th Did not record this day. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Since I am not able to post to the net any more, I am going to send my updates to Kelly McGlothlin and she will post them to the net for me. I cannot remember everything that happened during this week as I did not write everything down thinking I could not post to the net anymore. I do remember a few incidents and they are as follows: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tuesday, July 10 - Friday, July 13 Hope tells her grandmother everything about how she was forced to marry Larry, etc. She swears her grandmother to secrecy so as not to endanger her grandmother's life. Larry and Hope are sent a new butler by the "boss". The butler's name is London and he is really sent there to keep an eye on Hope. Larry also has a new security system installed at the apartment to keep any of Hope's relatives out and to keep Hope in. Melissa tells her father that she loves Pete and that if Mickey tells the police that he did not see who shot him, she will vow never to see Pete again. Mickey did see that it was Pete that shot him, but he tells Abe that he did not see anything, just shadows because of the heavy fog that night. Melissa is so relieved. She did not want Pete to go to prison, she wants him to be able to have a chance at life. Larry finds out that the man behind the political and personal manipulation of his life is Maxwell Hathaway. They now communicate directly on all matters concerning Larry and his political and personal life. Abe does not believe Mickey when he tells him he did not see anything. He does not believe Melissa or Pete when they tell him the same thing either. In fact, Abe knows that it was Pete that shot Mickey, but there is nothing that he can do about it if Mickey does not tell him that he saw anything. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie Carey ...seismo!carey

---------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, July 16th Hope is waiting in the tunnel part of the wine cellar of Blondie's for her grandmother. Little does she know that her grandmother set up a meeting between Hope and Bo. Bo comes into the tunnel and he literally runs into Hope. They are astonished that the other is there. Hope tells Bo everything about how she was forced to marry Larry. She tells Bo that she loves him and that she is not pregnant and she is in fact still a virgin. She tells him that Larry sleeps in the master bedroom and she sleeps in the guest room of their apartment. Bo has a hard time believing Hope at first but when she tells him that he and other members of her family were threatened with death if she did not do as she was told, he believes her. He is so happy. Alice tells her husband Tom about Hope and Larry and Bo. He is glad that she confided in him and he can help her out now when she arranges for Bo and Hope to meet in secret. Melissa races to stop Pete from confessing to Do Craig, his lawyer about the shooting. She reaches him in time. He signs the paperwork that allows him to go free. They then go down to the docks and Melissa tells Pete that she won't be seeing him again. He cannot accept that and he runs to the hospital to talk to Mickey, Melissa's father, because he figures out that Melissa made a deal with her father to let Pete go free from jail. Maxwell asks Gwen to be his attorney on a retainer basis. Larry is sitting at the same table with them and gestures to Gwen to not take the job. She does anyway. Larry and Gwen leaves Blondie's together and Gwen tells Larry the reason she took the job was to find out as much as she could about Maxwell. Larry had told her that Maxwell was the man behind everything and Gwen wants to find out how powerful Maxwell is. Maxwell and Gwen go to Max's yacht to start work right away on Max's import/export business; art objects coming into Salem to be housed at one of the museums there. Bo tells Abe that he cannot work undercover investigating Maxwell Hathaway because something of higher priority has happened in his life (meaning his getting back together with Hope). Abe had asked Bo to work for him because Abe suspects something illegal is happening at customs with Maxwell's import/export company. Abe tells Bo that he has figured out everything with Larry and Hope and Bo and that Abe really needs Bo to work for Maxwell to get the inside scoop on his empire. Bo tells Abe that he deserves a lot of credit for figuring the whole mess out and that he will work for Abe undercover working for Maxwell. Bo and Hope meet later that night in Bo's car down at the docks. Bo tells Hope that he will be working for Maxwell. Hope asks if that is just to be close to Meagan and Bo says no. Bo tells Hope that she will notice a change in him in the way he dresses and talks because he will be working for Maxwell and he has to change his image from that of a leather wearing motorcycle rider to that of a respectable businessman. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie Carey ...seismo!carey

-------------------------------------------------------------------- Thursday, August 9 Maxwell summons Neil down to the Hotel* restaurant. Maxwell asks Neil to return the favor he did for him when he loaned Neil the money to buy Blondie's. Maxwell asked Neil to bring some standard medical lab forms to him. He needs Neil's signature on the forms. Neil refuses to sign the forms, so Max threatens him with taking over Blondie's by calling in the loan he gave Neil to purchase Blondie's with. Neil is forced to sign the medical forms, but Maxwell will not tell Neil what the forms will be used for. Melissa and her mother Maggie are in Shenanigan's eating when Pete and Speed come in. Pete buys them a drink. Maggie tells Pete she thinks the only reason he bought them a drink was to talk to Melissa. Bo tells Maxwell and Jonathan that he will think about the assignment they gave him to kill Diane. He makes plans with Diane to fake the killing and get her out of New Orleans alive. Tess tells Don Craig that she thinks Pete is lying about the shooting. Don wants to know who else is lying about the shooting. He does not believe that no one saw anything and he thinks there is a cover up somewhere. Anna tells Tony that she thinks Tony is attracted to Kimberly because Kimberly is somewhat of a mystery woman. Anna tells Tony that she loved him once and she knows his tastes. Blanche reads Harold's diary. She calls Alice and tells her that all of the answers are in the diary. Blanche wants to go to New Orleans and show the diary to Bo. She thinks it will make everything that is happening with Maxwell and his organization clear to them all. Nick the pimp overhears Bo and Diane's plans to fake the killing and have Diane escape. Bo is going to shoot his gun into the bed in Diane's hotel room. Diane is then going to get into a maid's disguise and slip out of the hotel unnoticed. Bo is going to tell Jonathan that he carried out the assignment and hope no on wants to see the body. Bo goes back to the Hotel and tells Maxwell and Jonathan that he will take the assignment, but that he wants $100,000 a year salary, the first year advanced. He also wants three new vehicles of his choice. Blanche and Alice are at the airport getting ready to leave for New Orleans when Blanche is hit by a car. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *Note about Hotel: Maxwell Hathaway owns the Hotel where Liz is headlining her singing act. It is also where Diane is staying and where a lot of the scenes in New Orleans are taking place; in the Hotel restaurant/nightclub. I have not heard the name of the Hotel mentioned, but the nightclub section is called the Can Can Cabaret. Marie Carey ...seismo!carey ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday, August 10 Blanche Dale is killed by the hit and run driver. Alice is convinced that Blanche was murdered. She asks Eugene for his help. She tells him that the diary just disappeared, but she tells Eugene what Blanche told her about the contents of the diary. Jonathan tells Maxwell that they have the diary and that Blanche Daly was eliminated; made to look like an accident. They wonder if Blanche told Alice Horton anything about the contents of the diary. Bo is still being followed around New Orleans by a person in a black leather three finger glove. Bo tells Hope about his assignment. She is afraid for his life. Bo tells her that as soon as he exposes Maxwell, that they will run away together and never have to fear for their lives again. Larry tells Hope that she is not hiding her feelings for Bo too well and that the situation could be dangerous if she is not careful. Don confronts Mickey Horton about the shooting. He tells Mickey that he thinks he is lying and that if the truth ever comes out, Mickey's career in law could be ruined. Mickey tells Don to leave it alone. Melissa overhears the conversation and runs out to find Pete. Tom and Alice decide to go to Florida to Blanche's funeral. Blanche is being buried in Florida because her family is there. While they are there, Alice is going to slip away to New Orleans to talk to Bo about the diary. That way no one will suspect that Alice knows anything if they think she is in Florida the whole time. Gwen and Larry suspect that Hope may be meeting with Bo secretly. Alice remembers some of the information Blanche told her about the contents of the diary. Harold wrote in his diary that "I have the solution, it is Hacker #4". Alice tells Eugene this and Gene goes to play with the diskette some more. He places a call to New Orleans to Bo. Melissa tells Pete that Don suspects that Pete shot Mickey. Pete tells Melissa that if her father tells the truth, that Pete will go to jail for a long time. Melissa tells Pete that she loves him and that she will not let that happen. Bo is told by Jonathan that Diane is in her room and that he is to go up and kill her right then. Bo fakes the killing, helps Diane get into her disguise and she slips out the fire escape. He goes back downstairs to tell Jonathan that the assignment is complete. Jonathan wants to see the body for himself. When they are upstairs about to go into the room, Bo takes his gun out and prepares to shoot Jonathan or have him learn the truth that he did not kill Diane. But something is in the room that we the audience do not see, but whatever it is, it makes Bo say "Oh my God." ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Marie Carey ...seismo!carey

Sorry to tell you all that Marie Carey will be on vacation for the next two weeks and we won't be getting our updates. Hopefully, she will tape the shows while she's gone and can fill us in when she returns! -Kelly ----------------------------------------------------------------- Thursday, August 16 Liz is back home from New Orleans. Liz questions Neil about Maxwell Hathaway. She tells Neil the only reason she is asking is because Neil was calling out Hathaway's name in his sleep. He tells her he is just tired and working too hard. They decide to throw a pool/ tennis party at their house that afternoon. Bo tells Hope and Alice their part in helping Bo and and Howie steal the prism. They are to keep the security guards occupied and out of the room where the prism is being displayed. Chris asks Pete where he is working and Pete does not answer. He tells Chris that he wants to be out on his own, with his own job and his own place. He asks Chris if he can rent one of the apartments over Shenanigan's. Chris tells his yes, but to keep the noise to a minimum. Neil calls Maxwell and he tells him that he (Neil) thinks that what he did by giving and signing the medical forms over to Max was wrong. Max hangs up on Neil. Colliope knows Pete from the male dance club (she makes the dancer's costumes) and she asks him to escort her to Liz and Neil's party. He accepts because he thinks Melissa might be there. Maggie and Mickey have lunch at Shenanigan's and Maggie asks Mickey to tell her what is going on between Mickey and Don. She knows they are hiding something. She tells Mickey she knows it has to do with Melissa. Alice gets a replica made of the prism in a New Orleans glass blowing/ jewelry shop. She gives it to Bo, who is going to replace the original prism (the green one that has the power and wealth associated with it somehow) with the fake one. Hope goes into the art exhibit and creates a scene to keep the guards occupied while Bo lowers himself from the ceiling from a rope and replaces the original prism with the fake one. He had to go through the ceiling because there are laser beams all around the floor of the prism that set off an alarm if tripped. Maggie is at Liz and Neil's party when Mickey shows up. Pete is already there. Mickey sees Pete and, thinking them alone in the room, tells Pete that the deal stands. If Pete stays away from Melissa, he stays out of jail. Maggie had come back into the room and she overheard Mickey. She says "Oh my God, Mickey..." ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie Carey ...seismo!carey

---------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday, September 12 Anna and Tony have dinner together to celebrate their new business partnership. Alex joins them (uninvited, of course) and reminds them that he is also their partner. Anna's new business makes the business section in the newspaper. Linda Anderson shows up at Maggie's house to see Melissa. Melissa tells Linda that since she is already there, she might as well come in. Maggie calls Mickey and he comes over and tells Melissa that he and Maggie will handle Linda. Melissa goes to her room and calls Pete. Meagan places a telephone call to Helsinki, Finland. She is very upset because she does not have the first two prisms and she tells the person on the other end that she would put her life on the line for that person. Don meets with Meagan and tells her there is a good possibility that the little four and a half year old boy that Neil is treating for a genetic disorder is she and Bo's child. Meagan sees Hope and tells her that she and Bo have found their child. Hope asks Meagan wasn't it careless to lose it in the first place. (Good one, Hope!) Melissa agrees to see her mother and Linda tells Melissa the only reason she came to Salem was to see Melissa and explain to her why Linda did the things she did in the past, like sending Melissa off to boarding school and then forgetting her, etc. Meagan goes to Anna's room at the Salem Inn to look at some dress designs and she sees the costume with the prism necklace that Melissa is going to wear to her dance recital. She tells Anna that she wants it. She tries to get the prism, but Marie Horton is there and tells Meagan that she is there to pick up the costume for Melissa and it is not for sale and that the prism is being borrowed by Melissa from Kimberly and that Daphne DiMera owns it. Meagan leaves and hires a man to get the prism back at the dance recital hall that night. Linda tells Melissa that she loves her and that she will be staying at the Baldwin Hotel if Melissa wants to see her again. Melissa runs out of the room and Linda thanks Mickey and Maggie for loving Melissa and taking care of her. They wonder what Linda wants. Don tells Meagan that the child is definitely her's and Bo's. Meagan acts ecstatic. Don tells her there will be no legal problems with getting the child from the relatives of the adoptive parents. Pete meets with Melissa at the dance recital hall before everyone else arrives and he gives her a love knot bracelet. She tells him she will never take it off. They start slow dancing together on the stage and from behind the stage curtain, we see the man who was hired by Meagan with a gun pointed at Pete and Melissa. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie Carey ...seismo!carey

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday, September 21 Maxwell offers Liz the use of his yacht so that Neil can get a well needed rest from the hospital. Meagan is with him and once out of earshot, asks her father if that were really necessary. She reminds him they used Neil for what they needed and they have no further need of him. Max says they just might someday. Bo and Howie leave Daphne's penthouse. They tell Eugene everything that happened when they get to his cab, which is parked in the alley behind the building. They tell him that they overheard the friend of Daphne's tell Alice that the safe was wired and when someone touches it, they get fried and then the silent alarm goes off at the police station. Max hired two men to get the prism from Daphne DiMera's safe. They are told to not come back without it. They are instructed that if anyone is around, to kill them if need be, to get the prism. The prism must be retrieved at all costs. Alice is still in the penthouse with Jacque (Daphne's friend/houseguest) when the two men come down onto Daphne's balcony from the roof. Eugene had noticed the men waiting in the alley and when Bo and Howie get back to the car, he tells him about the two suspicious looking men. They all figure it must be Maxwell's men after the prism and Bo goes back up to the penthouse to get Alice out before the men get inside. Alice is leaving the penthouse and she runs into Bo on the way out. He takes her downstairs to wait in the cab and then takes off again to Daphne's penthouse for the second time to get the prism before Max's men do. Tony asks Kimberly out to dinner and tells her he will be a gentleman. She accepts and they go to Blondie's. They dance together and Kim asks Tony about Andre. Tony tells her he has men all over the world searching for Andre. Larry and Hope have dinner with Maxwell and Meagan at Blondie's. Max comments to Meagan as Hope and Larry are dancing that Hope looks the picture of health and he wonders why she is restricted by her physician grandfather from going on the political junkett with Larry. Andre is still acting on stage in Europe. He plays characters that require heavy makeup and wigs so that no one will recognize him. He has a picture of Anna on his dressing table backstage and he tells his companion that he loves Anna and he will have her again some day, even if it means killing Tony. The two men hired to get the prism place plastic explosives around the safe. They go out onto the balcony to set them off. Bo walks into the penthouse and is on his way to the safe when it blows. He gets thrown back. Carlo fantasizes about making love to Liz again. When she goes to sleep that night, Carlo goes into her bedroom and just stands by her bed and watches her sleep. Neil is at the hospital in surgery. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, September 24 Colliope takes Eugene out to dinner at Blondie's. She is paying him back for chauffering her around town in his cab so that she can do her errands. Howie and Alice hear the blast from the explosion and see smoke coming from the penthouse balcony windows. They start to rush up to the penthouse to see if Bo is okay, but he runs down to the cab and meets them as they are about to go up. He is alright, just shaken up a bit. He tells them they ought to leave because the police will be swarming all over the place within minutes. He also tells them the safe was empty when Max's men got to it. Carlo gets carried away and kisses Liz while she is asleep. She wakes up and sees him leaning over her (close) and she slaps him across the face and screams for him to get out of her room. Liz starts crying and Neil calls from the hospital. He asks Liz if she has been crying and she tells him she was watching a sad movie on television and she wished he would come home now. He tells her he will be a while longer. Colliope gives Pete his new costume and she shows him how to tease without stripping. It is his new gimmick at Beefcakes. They are practicing there when Madame DuPre comes in. She is pleased and gives Colliope a hundred dollars for her help. Hope tells Larry that she thinks Maxwell and his men are mobsters and she doesn't know how Larry got involved with them. Meagan tells Maxwell that she thinks they ought to let Bo in on the missing second prism. Max hasn't told Bo yet because he is becoming suspicious of him always hanging out with Eugene and Howie. Meagan is convinced (wrongly, of course) that Bo is on their side and that he could help them recover the second prism. Madame DuPre walks into Blondie's and sees Melissa there. The Madame ducks out and leaves. *My prediction is that Linda Anderson, Melissa's real mother, is Madame DuPre* Liz goes downstairs in her house where Carlo is pacing the floor and talks to him. She tells him she thinks they ought to talk this thing out before Neil gets home. Carlo tells Liz he is sorry that he got carried away, but he couldn't help himself because he loves her. She tells him that she never encouraged him in any way that she was aware of. She tells Carlo that she and Neil love him, but as a family member. Liz tells Carlo that she will not tell Neil because she does not want to hurt him in any way. She tells Carlo that he must change his feelings for her and if he doesn't and there is another repeat of that night, she would tell Neil everything that has happened. Tony comes home to the penthouse to find the police there and the place a shambles. His mother calls on the phone and tells him she was held up at the salon. Tony tells her what happened at the penthouse. She tells Tony that she moved the jewels from the safe, but she doesn't tell him where they are. She starts gagging all of a sudden and the phone is cut off. Tony runs out to where she is and finds out she has had a heart attack. Bo, Eugene, and Hope, and Alice go to the penthouse to see if Daphne is alright. They talk to Abe and Alice tells him that Bo did not blow the safe, Max's men did and that the safe was empty when they looked inside. They get a call at the penthouse that Daphne is in critical condition in the hospital. She is the only one who knows where the prism is now. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *These are from my grandmother's notes. I have not been in a position to record, so she was kind enough to watch it for me and take notes* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, September 25 Melissa is talking to some friends at school. They show her a flyer about the new "masked man" stripper that is opening Friday night at Beefcakes. Madame DuPre had flyers made up of Pete with a mask on and had them distributed so they would have a full house Friday night, when Pete is scheduled to open his new act. Melissa's friends ask her if she wants to go with them to catch the show and she tells them no, she has a date. She and Pete had planned to go out on a date Friday night after he got off work. Melissa still does not know where Pete works. Hope asks Meagan to go to lunch with her. Hope is trying to keep an eye on Meagan. Hope, Bo, Eugene, Alice, and Howie know that Maxwell and Meagan still do not have the second prism and they know that they are still trying to locate it. The plan is for "Bo and Co." to get the prism before Max and the "bad guys" do. Meagan and Jonathan talk about Daphne and getting the prism back. Meagan goes to the hospital and sneaks into Daphne's room when no one is looking. A nurse comes into Daphne's room and see Meagan and makes her leave. (Since I didn't watch I have no idea what Meagan was doing in the room and what she was planning to do while she was there) Alice Horton sees Meagan at the hospital and reminds her about her lunch with Hope. Carlo tells Liz that he must move out because he can not stand to be around Liz because he loves her too much. Neil hears them arguing and asks what is going on. They tell him they were just discussing some of Liz's upcoming performance dates. Eugene, Howie, Hope, and Alice are in Gene's cab discussing where the prism might be. They think Daphne still has it in the penthouse. They argue about who is going to go into the penthouse and look for the prism. Abe sees them all in the cab and jumps in to find out what is going on. He is mad because what they are doing is dangerous and Bo almost got killed trying to get the prism. (When the safe was blown) Carlo tells Neil that he is moving out and Neil tells him absolutely not. He tells Carlo that he promised his mother he would take care of Carlo. Marie asks Maggie to go to Beefcakes Friday night to catch the new performer's opening act. This new performer, is of course, Pete. Marie sees Howie on her way to have lunch with Maggie. Howie asks Marie out for Friday night, but she tells him she is going to the male dance club Beekcakes with Maggie and some other women who work at the hospital. Howie is incensed. Meagan visits Zachary in the hospital and she shows him to Hope and Alice. Meagan and Hope go to lunch after the visit. They go to Blondie's and Hope tries to keep Meagan there while Alice goes up to the penthouse with Tom Horton and Eugene to look for the prism. Meagan leaves anyway. Meagan goes to Daphne's penthouse and walks in the front door. She sees Alice Horton there and each looks at the other in surprise. Meagan asks Alice what she is doing there. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie Carey ...seismo!carey

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, October 8 Larry Welch is back from his political junkett. He sees Gwen and tries to talk to her. She gives him the cold shoulder. Pete goes to Melissa's house and confronts her about the incident at Shenanigan's. He tells her he never left a message at Shenanigan's canceling their date. Melissa asks Pete about the women she saw him with at the Salem Inn and he assures her he was only talking to her about a job as a male model working for Alex Marshall. They agree everything was a misunderstanding and they realize they should trust one another more, because of the misunderstanding at Shenanigan's, they almost broke up entirely. Which brings Melissa to ask Pete where he works. She tells him she doesn't want him to keep anything from her, they should share everything and learn to trust one another more. Pete still refuses to tell her right now where he works, but he says he will tell her soon. Pete tells Melissa he is saving all his money and it is turning into a large bank account. They tell each other that they love one another and that they will not let anything come between them again. Pete says if he finds out who left the phony message at Shenanigan's, he will break their arm. Madame duPre tells Alex to hire Pete to work for him. She tells Pete that if he is unhappy working for her, he can quit because she tore up the contract. He tells her he will stay because he can not make that kind of money anywhere else. Bo calls Hope and Eugene and tells them he is leaving New Orleans and going to Europe to see how well Diane is holding up while she is waiting to get her son back. He tells them he will be back in Salem in a few days and he also says he will call Jonathan Carlton and tell him that he is in New Orleans tracking the first prism. Maxwell is drinking because of the pressure of not finding the first two prisms yet. Jonathan tells him Bo called from New Orleans and said he is trying to track the first prism. Gwen invites Maxwell to her house for dinner and gets him drunk. (He was already slightly gone before he got to her place) She then serves him an after dinner brandy and slips a mickey into it to put Maxwell out for the night. After he is out, she goes through his coat pockets and gets his keys and goes to his office. There she gets into his files and is reading one labeled Top Priority about Larry Welch when she hears someone coming. She puts the file away and hides behind the door. Larry and a guard come into the office because Larry had a meeting with Maxwell and he needed an escort up to the office, hence the guard. Larry finds Maxwell not there and tells the guard he will wait a few minutes for Max. The guard leaves. Larry calls Gwen at home and her answering machine answers. He leaves a message that he loves her and needs her and he tells her where he will be staying in Washington, while he is on yet another political trip. Gwen overhears Larry, but she does not make herself known. After Larry leaves, Gwen locks up the file cabinet and leaves the office. Kimberly and Tony are having dinner at Blondie's and one of Shane's men that wears a gold pinky ring is following and watching Kimberly closely. Colliope and Eugene go on another date. Eugene asks Colliope if Daphne said anything about her missing jewels. Colliope swore to Daphne that she would not tell anyone she has the prism necklace nor where Daphne has her jewels hid, so she tells Eugene she knows nothing. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, October 9 Neil as started drinking slightly because of the pressure he is under. Max has something pretty bad on Neil and Neil is afraid it will get out. Because of this preoccupation, Neil is neglecting Liz. She knows something is wrong and she pleads with him to tell her. She asks if it is another woman and Neil assures her it is not. He tells her he is having some problems and she can't do anything to help him. Colliope tells Eugene that she is going to move out of his house and into Tony's penthouse. Eugene tells Colliope that he never asked her to leave and that it wouldn't be right for her to move in with a single, handsome bachelor such as Tony. Colliope tells Eugene that he is a single bachelor and she stayed with him. He says that it is different. We detect some jealousy here even though Eugene has not admitted to liking Colliope and he acts most of the time like he is just tolerating her. Colliope on the other hand, likes Eugene a lot. Danielle calls Neil and tells him that the two American men were back at her house asking questions about Neil. Neil keeps saying "Not now", even though we the audience do not know what is in his past that has come back to haunt him. Daphne is recuperating nicely. Tony says she should be coming home soon. Abe goes to Blondie's with a date and he notices the man watching Kimberly. His date asks him if he is still working, even off duty. Kimberly and Tony are at Blondie's having dinner and also to do a "shoot" of Liz in some costumes in singing poses. Liz is wearing Anna's designs and she needs some publicity shots taken of herself. Liz will be in Atlantic City for two weeks. Kimberly takes a few shots and then tells Liz that is all because she forgot her other film. Kimberly later tells Tony that she feels she is losing her touch as a good photographer. Tony gives her a pep talk and it makes Kimberly feel a little better. Larry is at his apartment with Hope and he starts reminising (sp?) about old times. He wants to call a truce with Hope and he touches her cheek. She hauls off and slaps his face and tells him she hates him. He leaves for Washington. Gwen goes to Blondie's after she was at Maxwell's office and she calls Eugene on his cab phone. He meets her at Blondie's and she asks him to make copies of the keys she has. The keys are Maxwell's but Gwen asks Eugene to not ask any questions, so he doesn't know whose keys they are. Hope is interviewed by a reporter after Larry leaves who wants to know some personal information about Larry. Hope gets a family bible and reads an inscription by a someone named "Shirvot". Hope tells the reporter she never heard the name Shirvot before and it is probably an old family name or something. Carlo asks Liz why she hasn't talked to Neil about Carlo moving out of their house yet. She says she doesn't know. Carlo tells Liz that he loves her and he can't stand the way Neil treats her and he can't stand being in the same house as them anymore. He tells Liz she will need him someday and he will be there for her. He kisses her lips passionately. She doesn't pull away. Bo calls Hope and she gives him a message from Abe asking him to call Abe on Eugene's cab phone. (Eugene runs his own cab service in case I forgot to mention that before) Abe asks Eugene if he can borrow his cab and phone for a little while because he is expecting a call from Bo. Bo calls Abe there and Abe asks him if he found the prism. Bo tells him no, not yet. Abe tells Bo that while he is in Europe, to check out the little towns around England and the small theater companies and he might find Andre. Andre arrives in Salem with Abigail. He is one step ahead of Abe and Bo. Andre and Abigail set up in a small shack on the lake. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Marie Carey ...seismo!carey
