[net.tv.soaps] Days of Our Lives Update

carey@seismo.UUCP (Marie Carey) (06/06/84)

Sorry I have not posted any updates in a while folks, but our machine
was down and then I was away for a couple days. I think I will just
start giving the most current updates as they happen instead of going
back like I had originally intended. I went TOO far back and now I
can't even remember everything that went on then. Oh well, here is
the scoop for this week so far. (Monday, June 4 - Tuesday, June 5)

Hope and Larry were all set to marry, but Bo shows up right before
Hope walks down the aisle and takes her away. He had stolen a car
and a motorcycle to get to her before she married Larry and now he
is in BIG trouble. Bo explained everything to Hope about why they
had to stay apart and he finally convinced her that he loves her
more than anything, etc., etc. They went to hide out in Maggie's
barn and they heard sirens. Bo went out to hide the motorcycle and
when he came back, Hope was gone. She was kidnapped by two thugs
that Maxwell Hathaway hired to get Hope back to Larry. Now Bo is
in jail for stealing the vehicles and Larry (good 'ole district
attorney) is going to try to charge him with kidnapping also.

Chris Kosicheck and Tess Jannings are spending more time together.
They like eash other a lot, but Tess is very reluctant to get into
a relationship because she feels she is not good enough for the likes
of Chris. Gwen Davies is sort of pushing Tess into letting her
feelings for Chris show because she told Tess, "Chris is probably the
nicest man you will ever meet".

Liz Chandler hired Carlos to be her assistant. Now that she is
receiving all these offers from Atlantic City and Vegas to sing,
she needs an assistant. Shs is also thinking of buying Doug's Place.

Melissa and Pete Jannings are in ("puppie") love, but they are from
different sides of the track and they are both hesitant to show their
feelings for one another.

Maxwell Hathaway brought Gwen Davies father to Salem and hired him as
his chauffer, but he is really Max's front man.

Roman Brady is back on the police force after the mess with Stephano
DiMera, who by the way has never been found yet. Roman can not do
anything to help Bo, who was booked for stealing the vehicles.

Eugene and Danny are singing the blues about their problems with
women, or lack of, so to speak.

Well, that is about all that has happened this week so far. Will keep
you posted!

This update is from Friday, June 8th. I didn't record on Monday,
June 11, but I have been watching on June 12, June 13, and June 14,
as I was home sick. This is the first chance I have had to post, so
I am sorry that it is a little behind schedule.

_____________________________________________________________________
Friday, June 8

Hope goes to see Bo in the hospital. She sees one of the thugs there
so she knows she must lie to Bo and tell him that she doesn't love
him. She tells him that she is going to marry Larry and that she
should have never left the church with Bo. She tells Bo that she
hates him. She did this primarily because one of the thugs called
Hope at home and told her that if she didn't do exactly as she was
told, her grandmother, Alice Horton, was going to end up in worse
shape that Bo Brady. This really scares Hope.

One of the thugs meets with Larry and tells him that he must marry
Hope. It is an order from someone who is very interested in Larry's
political career. We the audience knows that someone is Maxwell
Hathaway, but Hope and Larry do not know who is manipulating their
lives in such a manner.

Larry retains Gwen as his attorney to find out who is behind the
personal and political manipulation of Larry's life. This is
starting to smell of organized crime, with Maxwell as the BIG
boss.

Gwen and Larry go to bed together. He asked her and she resisted,
for about a minute. They have always been very attracted to each
other, but it looks like they are falling in love. Larry gets drunk
that night, which is the night before his second attempt at marriage
to Hope.

Larry and Hope really do not love each other. Larry wants to marry
Hope to further his political career and Hope was on the rebound from
Bo when he rejected her. Bo rejected Hope to keep her safe from
Stephano DiMera and his nephew Andre, who once tried to kill Hope.
Hope and Larry are making themselves miserable trying to convince each
other that they love each other and they are going to live happily
ever after.

Melissa and Carlos make a date so that Melissa and Pete can go out
together without Melissa's parents finding out.

Diane goes to Hope and tells her that Bo loves her and that Hope has
no right to hurt him like she has. Diane tells Hope that she is trash
and if she ever goes near Bo again, she will have to deal with Diane.

The morning of the wedding of Hope to Larry (second attempt), Larry
goes over to see Hope. Hope starts getting hysterical, saying that
she can not go through with the wedding. She is saying that she is
too young to know what she wants, etc. She is yelling and getting
hysterical and Larry slaps her across the face.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I will just summarize what went on during Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday's (June 12, 13, and 14) shows.

Hope and Larry are wed successfully this time, but the audience can
tell that Hope is extremely unhappy. She faints in the middle of
the ceremony. One of the thugs is present at the ceremony to make
sure that she goes through with it. At the honeymoon suite that
night, Hope tells Larry that she was forced to marry him and that
she hates him and everything is his fault. She tells Larry that
she never loved him and that she still and always will love Bo.

Bo gets out of the hospital and is taken to his hearing on the
kidnapping charges, grand theft auto, and assaulting a police
officer and stealing his motorcycle. A mystery person posts Bo's
$100,000 bail and guess who that is! Right, Maxwell Hathaway! I
am really beginning to dislike this character a LOT. He has his
grubby hands in practically everyone's life in this show. Another
J.R. Ewing, for sure!

Melissa is contemplating going to a dance camp for the summer. She
is a dancer. Pete doesn't want her to go, but he does not want to
be selfish and deny her, so he says he will go to visit her is she
decides to go.

Chris Kosicheck is planning a party for Pete's 18th birthday. Melissa
wants to go, so she invites her parents so she can go. They are
thinking about it.

Tess and Chris go on a picnic and have a really nice time. They are
getting closer.

Neil Curtis is turned down by every bank in Salem for a loan to
buy Doug's Place for Liz. He goes to Maxwell Hathaway; they used
to play golf together and Max is head of one of the most prominent
banks in Salem. Max grants Neil the loan and when Neil has left
Max's presence, Max calls him a sucker.

Neil tells Liz that he has a loan to buy the club and Liz announces
that she and Neil are the new owners and the new name of the club
is Blondie's. Neil has always called Liz "Blondie". It is his pet
name for her.

Bo is out of the hospital and jail and he and Diane hit all the
bars along the waterfront in Salem. Bo is trying hard to forget
Hope. He gets drunk and almost gets in a fight. He tells Diane
and Eugene that he hates Hope and he is going to do everything in
his power to forget her and get her out of his life for good.

Carlos gets a phone call from his mother in South America. It
makes him happy until he finds out about some heavy fighting
and the death of some of his friends. He tries to solicite medical
supplies from Neil, but Neil says that it would cost a fortune.
________________________________________________________________________
That is about it for this week. I will post today's (Friday, June 15)
show on Monday. Til then...This is Marie Carey and these are the Days
of Our Lives... :-)

Wednesday, June 20th

Pete keeps trying to call Melissa at her home. Whenever Melissa's
mother Maggie answers the phone, Pete hangs up on her. Pete and
Melissa are not allowed to see each other or call each other as a
result of their getting into trouble together. Pete and Melissa
meet together on the docks. Melissa told her mother she was going
to Hope and Larry's new apartment. Hope and Melissa are best friends.
Pete and Melissa vow to meet in secret over the course of the summer.

Hope meets with Larry at Blondie's and tells him that she will play
the role of his wife, but that she hates him for using her to further
his political career. She tells him she is being followed by the thugs
and Larry tells her to be careful who she is seen talking to.

Liz confronts Carlo and tells him not to hang around the Viper's gang
anymore. Carlo is living with Neil and Liz and he is Liz's assistant.
Carlo meets with Speed (head of the Vipers gang) at Shenanigans and
discusses how the sale of the firearms for his country are going.
Liz walks into Shenanigans as Carlo and Speed are talking. Speed
leaves and Liz repeats her warning to Carlo about not hanging around
the Vipers gang. Carlo needs more money for the firearms so he asks
Liz for an advancement on his paycheck. He tells Liz he is sending
the money to his mother in South America.

Maxwell Hathaway's daughter Meagan (sp?) finally makes her debut on
the show. Meagan and Bo Brady were high school sweethearts and she
still wears his class ring on a chain around her neck. Bo does not
know anything about Meagan being back in Salem and they just miss
each other at Shenanigans when Meagan meets her father Max for lunch.
She is her father's assistant. Max is a millionaire banker. At the
end of the show yesterday, Bo is sitting on the docks feeling sorry
for himself over his breakup with Hope, and Meagan walks up behind
him. Bo turns around and sees her and the picture fades out. What
suspense!

carey@seismo.UUCP (Marie Carey) (06/29/84)

Thursday, June 28th

Melissa is being attacked by Riff when Pete comes through the door
of the boat house. Pete and Riff get into a fight and then Riff
leaves. Pete is not hurt. Pete tells Melissa he will protect her
always and that he loves her. Melissa tells Pete that she loves him
too. They have their picnic lunch and they prepare to leave. Pete
tells Melissa that she should not go to the boat house alone
from now on.

Gwen runs into Hope at the Salem Inn. Gwen can hardly look Hope in
the eye even though Hope knows nothing of Larry and Gwen's affair.
Hope leaves and Eugene meets up with Gwen. Gwen treats Eugene
shabbily and then apologizes for being so mean to him. She tells
Eugene that he should find a nice woman who will treat him good and
just to forget about her.

Hope is at her new apartment and she is fantisizing about Bo. It makes
her miserable and she starts crying. Melissa comes to visit at that
precise moment and asks Hope what is wrong. Hope almost tells Melissa
the truth about how she was forced to marry Larry, but she comes to
her senses and tells Melissa that she is just overwhelmed by being
married and that she was not really prepared to take care of someone
else other than herself. Melissa tells Hope she is always there if
Hope needs her and Hope hugs her and tells Melissa that she (Hope)
is very lucky to have such a wonderful cousin and best friend as
Melissa.

Gwen gets some advice from her father to develop a friendship with
Maxwell Hathaway. Max is Gwen's father's boss. Gwen cynically asks her
father if the friendship would be for her sake or her father's sake.

Roman is briefed on his new position as Police Lietenant by the Police
Commisioner. The Commisioner tells Roman that Abe will have a new partner
and that partner will be perfectly suited to Abe. The partner is not
named yet.

Bo is getting into trouble by partying too much and going out with
attached women. He gets into a fight on the docks with the boyfriend
of a girl Bo spent the previous night with. Roman happens along and
breaks up the fight. He and Bo have a talk and Roman tells him that
he is sorry that Bo had to sacrifice Hope for his (Roman's) sake,
and that Bo should not try to keep all the pain inside him. Roman
wants Bo to share the pain with him. Roman hugs Bo and tells him he
loves him. These brothers are getting to be pretty close.

Hope goes to Shenanigan's to return her old uniform and she runs into
Bo. She looks very sad as she asks him if everything is going alright
for him. It bums Bo out completely seeing Hope. Maxwell's chauffer
(Gwen's father) tells Bo that Maxwell would like to meet with him at
Bo's earliest convenience. Bo tells him he will call Maxwell.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tuesday, July 17

Pete goes to the hospital to talk to Mickey Horton, Melissa's father.
He confronts Mickey about lying to Abe Carver about the shooting.
Pete knows that Mickey lied to keep Pete out of jail. Pete explains
to Mickey that it was an accident that he shot him. He said that
Speed had just been shot and he just saw a shadow running toward
him and he thought that the Warriors were coming to kill him, so
he just picked up Speed's gun and started shooting at the shadow.
He tells Mickey that he did not mean to hurt him and Mickey believes
him. Pete pleads with Mickey to not separate he and Melissa. Mickey
tells Pete that he is doing what he thinks is best for Melissa.

Bo asks Eugene for a tracking device and miniature walkie-talkie
disguised into a pair of wrist watches. Eugene is the master of
invention and he comes up with a man's watch and a women's watch
that are walkie-talkies and tracking devices built into the watches.
It is able to track for a couple of miles and it is waterproof also.
Eugene does not know that one of the watches is for Hope. He does
not yet know about Bo and Hope getting back together and Bo does not
want to involve him.

Gwen and Larry discuss Maxwell Hathaway. Larry is jealous of the fact
that Gwen is now Max's attorney and she will have to spend time with
him. Gwen tells Larry that she wants to help Larry escape from under
Maxwell's power and she has to find Max's weakness. Larry is grate-
ful to Gwen for doing what she is doing for him.

Eugene calls Gwen up and asks her out for a drink. She is in bed with
Larry at the time and she declines Eugene's offer.

Roman asks Abe about the case he is working on and Abe declines to
discuss it. He has Bo working with him and an undercover female cop
that is fronting as Abe's date. I think Lacy Parker, Abe's partner,
will also be working on the case.

Bo gives Hope her watch and she puts it on. Bo puts his on also. Bo
tells Hope that if Larry should ask where she got the watch, to tell
him her father sent it to her.

Melissa and Mickey are talking in Mickey's hospital room. He tells
her that Pete should be given a chance for a good life because he
has had such a hard life as a boy. He tells Melissa that she can
still not see Pete though, but that she will get over him and the
pain someday and fall in love with a nice young man and forget all
about Pete. Melissa tells her father that she understands that he
is doing what he thinks is best for her, but that she will never
forget Pete and she will love him always.

Pete is on the docks thinking about all of the good times that he
and Melissa had in the past. They start playing Willie Nelson's
"I Bless the Day I Found You" (I don't know if that is the title
of the song, but that is the chorus) and he flashes back to various
close times he and Melissa shared. Melissa shows up. She tells Pete
that is was her idea for her father to lie so that Pete would get
out of jail and she promised her father she would never see Pete
again. She apologizes to Pete for hurting him, but she tells him
that she did it so he would have a chance at a decent life and he
would never get that chance in prison. She tells him that she loves
him and that she always will and then she touches his cheek and says
goodbye. They are both crying at this point.*

Hope is in the guest bedroom of her apartment and she is talking to
Bo through the walkie-talkie. Larry starts banging on the door and
Hope tells Bo that she has to go because Larry is banging on her
door. Bo tells Hope to not let him in, but she is already signed-
off the walkie-talkie.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
* I tell you folks, this part got to me. The actors on this show
are great! I realized that as soon as I started watching it again.
They are very professional and a lot of the dialogue is so very
convincing. I mean, it is not like they are "reading lines" so
to speak. And they cry on cue great too. I find my eyes getting
misty every time something sad happens and someone is crying. In
my opinion, it is more like watching a good movie every day rather
than your "stereotypical soap opera". I guess I am just a FAN!

Wednesday, July 18

Meagan explains to Bo what the job of art security entails. She
also encourages Bo to get more involved in her father's business.
She tells Bo that her part in the business is researching invest-
ments for her father. If he is interested, he invests in them.
They discuss their child and Bo tells Meagan that he talked to
Don Craig (lawyer) about the situation and that Don told him the
adoptive parents are protected under the law as is the child and
that the real parents have few rights, if any, to the child after
they sign it over. Meagan asks Bo if he hates her for letting
their child be adopted and Bo says no. Meagan tells Bo that she
still cares for him but that she knows he still loves Hope. He
tells her that he doesn't. (He has to keep the fact that he loves
Hope and they are back together under wraps so as not to endanger
anyone's lives).

Chris tells Pete that he knows Pete went to see Mickey Horton in
the hospital and that Mickey told Abe that he didn't see who shot
him. He also knows that Pete and Melissa are not seeing each other
any more.

Diane goes to see Marlena Evans for professional help. She tells
Marlena that she came from a very unhappy childhood and that she
never knew her father and that she lived with her mother who
constantly had men around. Diane tells Marlena that she has a son
that she had to put into a foster home because she had to go back
on the streets as a prostitute to make a living. Diane communicates
with him by telephone but he doesn't really respond to her.

Meagan tells her father that she is in love with Bo and that she
always has been. She starts crying and Maxwell tells her that he
will have to find a way to bring them together again.

Carlo and Neil talk about the guns that Carlo purchased to send to
South America to help his people. Neil tells Carlo not to do anything
else that might risk getting Carlo deported. He tells Carlo to send
for his mother because she is in danger and Neil wants her to live in
the United States. Carlo is happy about that. He misses his mother and
worries about her safety. Neil tells Carlo to get into law school like
Carlo had originally intended to do before he was sidetracked with his
attempt to help his people by sending guns to them. Neil is like a
surrogate father to Carlo. He risked his life to bring Carlo to the
United States and he watches over Carlo. Carlo lives with Neil and Liz
in their mansion.

Bo shows up at Shenanigan's with Meagan. Bo tells her that she is very
special and that he loved her once, but that was a long time ago. He
encourages her not to love him like she once did. Bo tells Meagan
that she will find someone nice someday. He then goes to talk to Diane
who just walked into Shenanigan's and he asks how her sessions with
Marlena are going. He gives her a hug and tells her he is there when
she needs a friend.

Pete gives Tess a note from a man who is looking for Tess. Tess gets
really upset and when Pete tries to ask her about the note, she just
tells Pete she will take are of it. She asks Pete is he shot Mickey
Horton. He doesn't answer and walks away.

Harold Daly is a customs official paid by Maxwell's men to look the
other way whenever Maxwell has something come through his import/
export company and through customs. At this time, it is Maxwell's
modern art collection that is coming through customs. Maxwell bought
an art gallery to exhibit his modern art collection in. Some of the
art that has come in is called (get this) "Hacker 1 - Hacker 5".
They are art pieces that have floppy disks in the center of the art
as the main concept of the piece. What that really is, of course, is
a front. Those diskettes have information on them that is valuable to
Maxwell. Harold takes one of the diskettes off the art piece and puts
it into his system that is in his customs office. He sees the words
"Prisms for Power" and then a bunch of coded numbers. He does not
know what they mean. One of the modern art pieces that Maxwell had
come through customs and that is now sitting in Maxwell's office is
a crystal sculpture of different colored and sized prisms.
(I guess we the audience will learn the significance of all of this
soon. Right now it doesn't make much sense).

Thursday, July 19

Pete goes to live in the boat shack that is on Chris's property. He
thinks now that Chris knows he shot Mickey, he will not want Pete to
live in the house any more.

Hope asks Melissa why she is so sad and Melissa tells Hope that she
has chosen not to see Pete any more. She tells Hope that she will get
over Pete someday. Melissa also tells Hope that she knows Hope is
pregnant because her mother Maggie told her and she wants to know why
Hope did not tell her. Hope says that she was going to tell her, but
that her grandmother found out first and went and told everyone before
she had a chance to.

Anna asks Gwen to be her attorney for her new dress designer business
and Gwen declines.

Roman tells Abe that he knows all about the case he is working on.
He had to go to the chief to find out and he is angry at Abe for
not confiding in him about the case, especially since it involves
Roman's brother Bo.

Maxwell pressures Larry to keep a closer eye on Hope. Max had London,
the butler fired and put a new man in Larry's apartment to keep an
eye on Hope.

Diane's former pimp tries to blackmail Larry about some information
from his past. He wants five thousand dollars from Larry. Larry tells
Maxwell and Max says he will take care of it.

Hope's watch goes off when she is around Eugene and he suspects it is
the watch he made for Bo.

Roman shows Marlena blueprints for a cradle he is going to build for
their unborn child. Marlena asks Roman if his sister Kimberly is
coming to visit. Roman had received a letter from her. She resides
in Paris. He does not know whether she is going to visit them or
not.

Pete is sleeping in the boat shack and Melissa comes in, not knowing
anyone is there. Maggie calls Chris and asks him if he saw Melissa.
He tells her he did see her by the boat shack and Maggie goes down
there to find her. Melissa and Pete hide from Maggie when they hear
her. Pete tells Melissa that if they are seen together now that
Melissa told her parents that she wouldn't see Pete any more, Pete
may go back to jail because Mickey Horton might go back to the
police and tell them he *did* see who shot him. Melissa agrees and
tells Pete that she must leave. She tells Pete that she knows he
will make it in life and she leaves. She runs back into the boat
shack almost immediately and tells Pete that she loves him and
she couldn't make herself leave him. Pete tells Melissa that he
will never be able to let her go and they kiss passionately. Melissa
tells Pete that she loves him again and he tells her that he loves her
more than anything in the world. They proceed to make love for the
first time to the tune of Willie Nelsons "I Bless the Day I Found
You". That must be their song :-).

Eugene keeps getting strange "vibes" whenever he is around Colliope,
Anna's seamstress. Eugene had placed a personal ad in the newspaper
to try and meet women. Colliope answered the ad and she and Eugene
meet at Shenanigan's. Their first date does not go well at all.

Melissa wants Pete to make love to her at the boat shack, but Pete
hesitates. He tells Melissa he wants it to be perfect, not in some
grungy boat shack. Melissa tries to talk Pete into running away with
her, but Pete tells Melissa that it would be a bad idea since she is
used to having a nice home and nice things. She says that those things
wouldn't matter if they were together. Pete tells Melissa that she
would grow to resent that kind of life and eventually grow to resent
him and he doesn't want that for them. He tells Melissa that he will
think of some way to get them out of Salem together.

Hope and Bo try to meet but Hope realizes she is being followed and
communicates with Bo over the walkie-talkie wrist watch not to meet.
as they had originally planned. They arrange to meet later and Hope
loses the person who is following her.

Maxwell threatens the pimp with death if he tries to blackmail Larry
Welch. Max tells the pimp that he wants him to get a little boy about
four years old for Maxwell. He tells the pimp not to breath a word of
it and that it is for something personal.

Anna Brady DiMera is planning a big surprise party for Tony's return
from Europe. She is inviting all of Salem's elite.

Meagan starts setting up her father's new art gallery. The crystal
prism sculpture is there in the gallery.

Bo and Hope take a row boat across the lake. They want to get to the
boat house in a way that no one will see them. It starts storming on
them halfway across the lake. Bo and Hope are unaware that there is
a small hole in the row boat that is gradually letting water into
the bottom of the boat. They are embracing and kissing while the boat
is filling up with more and more water.

Wednesday, August 1

Bo took the statue off of it's pedestal to prove to Maxwell that his
security system is not good enough. Maxwell is very impressed with
Bo's demonstration. Maxwell wants to bring Bo into the organization
so that he will have Bo to pass his empire onto.

Barry was in jail for robbing a liquor store. Tess is trying to keep
Barry away from Chris, but Barry insists that they go to dinner at
Shenanigan's. They run into Chris there and Barry introduces himself
as Barry Reed, Tess's husband. Chris is shocked, to say the least and
he walks out of Shenanigan's.

Tom Horton tells his wife Alice about the safety deposit key that
Harold left in his possession. He also tells her that Harold has
a heart condition and that he did not look good at all; very nervous
and shaking, smoking excessively and drinking.

Alice tells Larry that Hope is going to stay with she and Tom while
Larry is away in New Orleans. They are going to arrange for Hope to
meet with Bo that night after the art exhibit, before Bo has to go
to New Orleans.

Maxwell talks to Neil Curtis and reminds him that Neil owes Max a
favor for the favor Max did for Neil, which was lending Neil the
money to buy Blondie's when no other financial institution in
Salem would. Of course, Max planned that so that Neil would owe
Maxwell a favor. Doctors can come in handy when it is time to pay
back a favor, one assumes.

Chris goes back to Shenanigan's and Barry and Tess are still there.
When Barry leaves to go to the restroom, Chris goes over to Tess's
table and tells her that she could have told him that she was married
and that he never wants her coming near him again.

Tony tells Anna that he will back her dress design business with two
million dollars if she can find another person who will back her for
the same amount also. He is hedging his bet.

Harold walks in on some thugs wrecking his place. They were sent by
Maxwell's right hand man, Carl. When Harold walks in, the thugs punch
him out and they leave. He dies of a heart condition. Blanche,
Harold's wife, comes home a little later with Alice and they find
Harold dead. Alice calls the paramedics and Tom, but it is too late.
Alice and Tom take Blanche to stay at their house for a while.

Bo meets with Hope at Tom and Alice's home before he has to go to
New Orleans. Hope tells Bo that she will promise not to go to New
Orleans, but she has her fingers crossed, and knowing Hope, she
will find a way to get there. Bo does not want her in New Orleans
because he does not want to be distracted while he is doing his
investigative work and he also does not want Hope to be in any
danger.

Maxwell and Meagan receive a letter from their European colleagues
telling them that the information they need to know about the crystal
prism sculpture is in the floppy diskette, which is part of the art
work labeled "Hacker #4". Little do they know that Harold replaced
the original floppy that was on Hacker #4 with another floppy and
he has the original floppy in his safety deposit box. Tom Horton has
the safety deposit box key.

Monday, August 6

Liz and Carlo arrive in New Orleans for Liz's singing engagement
there. Liz misses Neil and Noel terribly. Carlo calls Neil and
asks him to call Liz because she is very lonely and she misses
him. Liz keeps receiving flowers at her hotel from the same person;
a fan. Carlo tells the hotel management to defer the bothersome
flowers elsewhere because it is getting to be a hassle for Liz.

Gwen and Larry are in New Orleans. Maxwell assigns Gwen the task
of making sure Larry gets to all of his political meetings. Gwen
and Larry meet in a hotel on Bourbon Street.

Pete takes the job at the male dance club as a waiter. He starts
his first day wearing *very* tight black jeans and a silver tie,
no shirt. (Looks good!)

Colliope (Anna DiMera's seamstress for dress design business) is
making the costumes for the male dancers at the club as a side
job. Anna does not pay her very much. She takes Eugene's cab to
the club to drop off some designs. Eugene goes in with her and
accidently lays her designs over a candle. They burn and Colliope
does not get the money for her designs. She is furious at Eugene
to say the least.

Hope and Bo are running around New Orleans having a good time, trying
to stay out of sight as much as possible so as not to be seen by
Maxwell or anyone else they might know. They duck into a restaurant
and almost run into Liz and Carlo. Hope hides behind some plants in
the restaurant until Bo and Liz have finished talking and Liz and
Carlo leave. Bo and Hope then hot foot it out of there and Bo goes
back to Maxwell's house. Hope is going to show up there soon to be
with her "hubby" Larry, who is staying at the Hathaway's. Hope wants
to be where Bo is and she tells Bo that she wants to keep an eye on
Meagan, who they both know wants Bo and will do anything to get him.

Little do Bo and Hope realize, but they have been followed around New
Orleans by a person wearing a three finger black leather glove. We
haven't seen the person yet, only his hand and legs as he is following
Bo and Hope.

Meagan is starting to get heavy with Bo. I think she is laying the
groundwork for when the child shows up that she and her father are
going to try and convince is Bo's son. Meagan keeps reminding Bo
of the good times they shared in high school and the love they had
for one another at that time.

Hope shows up at Maxwell's house much to the dismay of Larry. Bo
and Meagan walk in and Hope says, "Surprise, surprise, looks like
we all ended up under the same roof". This is getting juicy!

Carlo is falling head over heels in love with Liz.

Barry runs into Chris at Blondie's and he warns Chris to stay away
from Tess. Tess works there now as Liz's personal maid. Because of
Barry's outburst in Blondie's, everyone is finding out that Tess is
married.

Blanche finds the diskette in Harold's safety deposit box. She and
Alice ask Howie to help them figure what is on the diskette. Howie
and Tom decide to use Eugene's computer to read the diskette. They
can not figure out the code on the disc, so they ask Eugene for his
help.

Maxwell asks Gwen to spend the night with him. Larry walks into the
room before Gwen has to give an answer to Max. Gwen excuses herself
to go change for Liz's opening show in New Orleans.

Maxwell, Gwen, Larry, Hope, Bo, and Meagan attend Liz's opening
show in New Orleans. Gwen and Larry excuse themselves to go to a
meeting and Hope, Bo, and Meagan go back to the Hathaway's house.
Maxwell talks with Carl, who tells him the replacement disc has
arrived and that the person who has the first one is as good as
dead.

Tess tells Barry that she loves Chris and that she wants to be with
him. Barry slaps her around and she runs to Chris's house. Chris and
Don Craig are there. Tess tells Chris and Don about the time when
Barry beat and raped her. Don is going to be Tess's attorney and help
her obtain a divorce from Barry. Chris tells Tess that he loves her
and that he won't let anything happen to her any more, that he will
take care of her. Tess keeps telling Chris how sorry she is for
putting him through hell while she tried to figure out how to get
away from Barry. Chris had thought she made her choice, but he did
not know that Barry was abusive and Tess was very afraid of him and
what he might do to not only her, but to Chris as well. Tess did not
really have a choice to make after all. Barry shows up at Chris's
door and Chris says that he will take care of it. He tells Barry to
get off his property.

Maxwell puts the replacement diskette into his computer and reads it.
He understands the code and information that is on the diskette. He
says to himself that it all makes perfect sense.

Hope is out on the balcony looking into Bo's room and she falls over
the balcony.

Dear DOOL fans,

Here is the update for last Wednesday's show. Marie sent it to
me last week, but, due to problems with our system, I never received
it. So she mailed it to me again and I am posting it (a little late,
but better late than never!).

Wednesday, August 8

Hope falls over the balcony but catches the grate underneath. Bo
rushes out to the balcony and pulls her up to safety.

Carlo gives Liz a dozen red roses after her opening show in New
Orleans. He tells her that flowers sometimes better express to
a person how another person feels about them than words.

Liz receives another note from her "secret admirer" fan. It says that
he has the room next to hers and that he will be waiting for her after
the show. Liz and Carlo go to confront this person because the whole
incident is starting to get to Liz. They go up to the room adjoining
Liz's and open the door. Who should be standing on the other side of
the door but Neil, Liz's husband. Liz is so happy to see him. Carlo
is jealous.

Barry forces his way into Chris's house and tries to drag Tess outside
with him. Chris beats Barry to a pulp. Tess calls the paramedics and
Barry is taken to the hospital. He ends up with three broken ribs and
a concussion.

Maxwell thinks that Bo should be told about the exact purpose of the
primary prism and it's power. Jonathan Carlton (sorry folks, I thought
his name was Carl. The character who plays Maxwell Hathaway has called
him Carl, but I read through the credits yesterday after viewing the
show and they listed his name as Jonathan Carlton) does not think Bo
is ready to come into the organization fully and he wants Maxwell to
"test" Bo. Maxwell and Carlton now know which prism is the key one,
by securing the information on the replacement diskette.

Hope is waiting in Bo's room for him after he has gone for a walk with
Meagan. She wants Bo to make love to her but he resists because he
knows it is too dangerous for them to be together. They have almost
been caught together on two occasions since being in New Orleans.

Eugene write Colliope a check for the designs he ruined of hers. She
does not accept the check but asks him to chauffer her around to do
her errands.

Diane arrives in New Orleans. She realizes she made a mistake giving
her child up for adoption to the Hathaway's and she wants him back.
Nick tells Max this and he tells Max he will take care of Diane. Max
tells Nick no, he has a better idea.

Bo meets with Maxwell and Jonathan at the restaurant where Liz sang.
Maxwell tells Bo about the organization; the real story, not the
front they have been putting on for everyone. He tells Bo he can
either be a part of the organization or be eliminated. Max and Jonathan
give Bo an assignment to test his loyalty to Maxwell, and hence the
organization. Bo must kill Diane to be accepted into the organization.

Tuesday, August 14

Hope reads about Diane's death in the newspaper. Apparently Diane's
body was found in the river. She is eating breakfast with her
grandmother and she asks her who else will have to die before this
is all over.

Anna is at Tony DiMera's showing him her latest designs when Kimberly
shows up with her portfolio for Tony to look over. Tony criticizes
some of Kimberly's pictures and she leaves in a huff. She comes back
for her purse and Tony makes some telephone calls on her behalf. He
tells her he has a job for her shooting pictures of real estate. Kim
is not exactly thrilled with the job, but she takes it because she is
running low on money.

Bo and Meagan go into the sitting room for breakfast and they discover
Howie Hofsteader sitting there eating breakfast. He tells Meagan that
Bo called him to come down and check over Bo's security system at the
art exhibit. He tells her that he is an expert in security. They also
explain this to Maxwell when he comes into the room.

Marlena sees the newspaper story about Diane in the Salem newspaper.
She is extremely upset. She and Diane were becoming close as doctor
and patient. Marlena tells Roman that the reason Diane was in New
Orleans was to try and get her child back. She places a call to
Bo in New Orleans but he is not in, so Marlena talks to Meagan.
Marlena tells her to tell Bo the reason Diane was in New Orleans
was to locate her son. She tells Meagan that the people in Salem
had been concerned about Diane because she had been so distraught
about her son. Marlena wonders aloud if Diane's death could have
somehow been related to her wanting her son back after she had
already signed the adoption papers. Meagan gets terribly upset
after the telephone call and she tells her father they have a big
problem. She then flies into a rage and says all of her plans for
Diane's son showing up are ruined. She hurls a few glasses at the wall.

Bo and Howie meet Hope and Alice in Jefferson Square. A man tries to take
their picture and Bo rushes over and takes the camera away from him and
rips out the film. The man is paid by Howie for the film.

The person (whom I assume is a man because he is wearing men's shoes
and he has hairy knuckles) with the black leather three finger glove
is still following Bo around. He has seen Bo and Hope together now
on a few occasions. We the audience have only seen his legs and one
hand showing the glove, so we do not know who the character is.

Howie shows Bo the blueprints for the prism sculpture and tells him
that the green prism is the one that will bring great power and
wealth. They do not yet understand how, so they plan to steal the
prism sculpture from the art exhibit.

Kimberly tells Marlena and Roman that she has a job photographing real
estate for Tony DiMera. She tells them it is an extremely boring job,
but she needs the money. Kimberly tells Roman that the apartment that
she was living in in Paris had been ransacked and the yacht she had
been a guest on in Europe had been ransacked also. Roman asks her if
she has anything someone might want and she tells him she just has
her cameras and pictures.

Abe asks Roman why he has been traveling all over the world lately.
Abe tells Roman to tell him about the ISA. (International Security
Association ??) Romans tells Abe to tell him about the Hathaway
case going down in New Orleans.

Mickey leaves Liz and Neil's house and Maggie follows him out. Don
runs into her and asks her what is going on. She says she doesn't
know but she is going to find out. Maggie follows Mickey into his
car and tells him she knows that Pete shot Mickey and that Mickey
made a deal with him. Maggie later tells Don that she knows everything
also.

Hope accidently knocks over an art piece that sets off the alarm
around the prism. The guards run into the room where the prism is
being displayed and they see the rope hanging from the ceiling.
They run out to find the culprit and commense chasing Bo. They
have not seen his face though, so they don't know who they are
chasing. The man who is following Bo who wears the black leather
glove sees what is happening and shoots one of the guards. Bo runs
into Hope and puts the original prism in her purse. The man with
the black glove gets rid of the other guards who are chasing Bo
and Hope and he continues to follow them.

Maxwell is informed of the near theft and he goes to the art exhibit
to inspect the prism. He can not tell that the original prism was
replaced with a fake.

Anna asks Tony to pay Kimberly to photograph her dress designs so
Anna can put them into a portfolio and take them to New York.

Eugene tells Colliope that he had been married but that his wife died.

One of the guards at the art exhibit tell Maxwell that the guards
who were chasing the thief were shot with a tranquilizer (sp?) gun.
He is also given a description of Hope, Alice, and Howie as being
at the exhibit when the incident occured. Max and Meagan want to
know why they were there and if they were somehow involved.

Bo gives Howie the original prism and tells him to take it back to
Salem. Howie is on a boat out of New Orleans and the man with the
black leather glove is there also. The man with the black leather
glove dashes to take the prism from Howie. He grabs the bag with
the prism and falls over the boat with it. The prism is now at the
bottom of the river.

Monday, September 3

Hope is threatened by a thug to act the part of the perfect wife at
Larry's political functions and to not drink anything because she
gets loose tongued when she drinks and it looks bad on Larry's image.
The thug tells Hope her family will be hurt if she does not play the
game.

Bo and Eugene are in a swamp in New Orleans trying to locate the prism.
It is in a bag with Hope's walkie-talkie wrist watch. Eugene is tracking
the prism with a tracking device that he made to track the watch with.
Eugene tracks the watch and prism to an alligator and they surmise
that the prism is in the stomach of the alligator.

A mystery women tells Alex Marshall that she wants him to invest in
Anna DiMera's dress design business. She will front the money, but
she wants to be a silent partner. She wants Alex to hire the models
and run the business, but she does not want anyone to know that she
is the real investor.

Carlo is in love with Liz and he can not stand how lovey-dovey Liz and
Neil act towards one another. He starts a letter to his mother in
South America telling her that things are not working out in Salem and
he thinks he should come home. Liz and Neil find the letter and they
decide to try and talk him into staying with them. He lives in their
house and is Liz's business assistant. They think of him as part of
the family.

Maxwell is hosting a political campaign bash for Larry at Blondie's.
Larry is running for Lt. Governor of Salem.

Alex lies to Anna and tells her that Stephano DiMera overlooked a
swiss bank account of Alex's when Stephano wiped out Alex
financially. He lies to her because the mystery women told Alex he
must not tell anyone where the money came from, that people must
think that it is his money. Alex tells Anna he is rich again and
that he wants to invest in her dress design business.

Hope and Bo meet together in Blondie's wine celler when Bo returns
from New Orleans. He gives her a new walkie-talkie watch that Eugene
made for her. They can now communicate again via walkie-talkie wrist
watches.

Carlo gives Liz a neck rub after they get back from Blondie's and
Larry's political bash. She is wiped out and says the long nights
at Blondie's take a toll on her. Neil is at the hospital. Carlo
then asks Liz to give him a neck rub and he takes his shirt off.
(what a bod!) Carlo tells Liz she is the best and he rubs her
cheek affectionately. Liz is disturbed at the intimate way Carlo
is acting towards her.

The second prism is being delivered to a women in Salem. We the
audience then see a package addressed to Daphne DiMera (Tony's mother)
in care of Tony DiMera. I assume she is the women the prism is
going to be delivered to.

Wednesday, September 5

Eugene gives Abe the note that Jonathan Carlton's wife dropped and
Hope picked up and gave to Bo. It tells of the package to be
delivered to a "woman". They do not know who the woman is yet.

Daphne arrives in town from Europe and she receives the package at
Tony's penthouse. It is a jewel box full of jewels to Daphne from
Stephano DiMera. Kimberly is at the penthouse with Daphne when the
package arrives and Daphne tells her that Stephano had wanted her
to have them before he died. At least they think he is dead. His
body was never recovered from the river. There is one crystal prism
piece of jewelry that Kimberly asks Daphne if she can borrow. Daphne
says yes.

Marlena is waiting for the results of her ultrasound. She says that
the technician did not allow her to look at the screen, so she does
not know what is going on. Maggie and Marie are waiting with her.

Maggie gave the engagement ring back to Don. She tells Marlena and
Marie that it was a mutual decision. She wants to be on her own and
independent for a while and she and Don and Mickey are going to just
be friends.

The mystery woman tells Alex to look into buying a club called
Beefcakes. It is the place where Pete is working as a male dancer.

Liz is going to Chicago for a singing engagement. She tells Carlo
that she does not want him to accompany her there. She thinks he
should start college and not be traveling all over with her. Carlo
tells Liz he thinks it is best if he moves out of her and Neil's
house and gets his own place. She tells him that he should discuss
that with Neil.

Neil tells Marlena that the results of the ultrasound test are that
she is going to have twins. She tells Roman while Maggie and Marie
go out and buy another crib for the second baby.

The mystery woman (Madame something or other, I haven't caught it
yet) talks with one of the models that Alex hired to model Anna and
Colliope's dress designs. The Madame tells the model that Alex does
not know it, but he is going to be fronting one of the most expensive
and elite call girl services in the world. The Madame speaks with a
French accent.

Liz asks Anna to hire Carlo now that Liz does not need him that much
any more. She doesn't want him to be bored.

Tony's penthouse is ransacked by two thugs sent by Maxwell to get
the crystal prism. They do not find it because it is in Kimberly's
possession. Kimberly and Daphne walk into the penthouse later and
Kim says "Oh no, not again". She is very upset. She had told her
brother Roman that the places that she had lived in in Europe had
been ransacked and that the yacht she had been a guest on had been
ransacked also. Each time her place was ransacked she would move
and that is what eventually brought her back to Salem and the
safety of her family. I guess she thinks this ransacking is related
to the earlier ones, but I don't see how...yet.

Thursday, September 6

Daphne and Kimberly call the police and Kim calls her brother Roman
and tells him about the ransacking. He rushes over to Daphne's.
Daphne tells the police that nothing was stolen from the penthouse.
Kimberly is very frightened and she asks Roman who could be after
her. He assures her that this incident probably has nothing to do
with the ransackings in Europe.

Bo tells Maxwell that a man stole the prism in New Orleans and that
Bo could not find either the man or the prism. Max tells Bo that
the prism must be found at all costs.

Neil forgot to tell Marlena the sex of the twins she is carrying. He
calls her and tells her she and Roman are expecting a girl and a boy.
They are ecstatic.

Maxwell tells Meagan that a child will be delivered to them and the
circumstances surrounding the delivery is this: they will explain
that the adoptive parents of the child were killed and the child has
a rare health condition that warrants the courts to contact the real
mother to find out her health history. And of course when the "real"
mother (Meagan) finds out that the adoptive parents are dead, she will
take her child back. The child will be Diane's little boy of course.
Diane is dead, so she is out of the way. And Neil Curtis has forged
medical lab forms stating the "real" mother and father are Bo and
Meagan. He has also forged some documents listing some rare health
condition, so that part of Maxwell's story holds up too. Before
Diane was murdered, she had signed papers allowing Maxwell to legally
adopt her son. She did not know that it was Maxwell at the time
though. Meagan had told Bo when she first came back to Salem that
she had his child and she had to put it up for adoption. All she
knows is that a couple from the South adopted it. I think Meagan lied
about having the child though, I don't think she ever had Bo's child
at all, I think she had been conjuring up this plan the whole time
just to get Bo back.

The man with the black leather glove and the gold pinky ring is still
following Bo and Hope, even now that they are back in Salem. The man
turns out to be Shane, Hope and Larry's butler/spy that was put there
by Max to keep an eye on things. At the end of the show yesterday,
he took his white butler gloves off and we get to see the gold pinky
ring.

Meagan throws a party at Blondie's. She is escorted by Bo. On the way
to the party, she gives him a letter that was addressed to her mother
(who is dead) and it is from some southern state. I think it has to
do with the child and Meagan has started the ball rolling on her
master plan to try and convince Bo that the child is their's.

Kimberly is escorted to Meagan's party by Don Craig. She wears the
prism piece of jewelry. When she walks in, Maxwell and Jonathan
recognize the prism immediately. Max tells Jonathan to get it back
immediately, even if they have to kill Kimberly to get it. Kimberly
and Don have their picture taken at the party by the press, I think,
and of course the prism is is the picture also. Kimberly is staying
with Roman and Marlena until she can find a place of her own. Don
takes her home and as they are sitting there talking, a shadow is
seen outside the window looking in.

Monday, September 10

Melissa shows her mother Maggie the crystal prism necklace that
Kimberly let her borrow of Daphne's. Maggie shows Melissa her final
divorce papers that came in the mail. She and Mickey are now legally
divorced. Maggie assures Melissa that she will always be there for
she and Sarah (Maggie's other daughter). Maggie wants she and Melissa
to be friends and share experiences together. Maggie also gives
Melissa a letter that came for Melissa in the mail with no return
address. It is from Melissa's real mother, Linda Anderson, and it
says she will be in Salem for a while and she wants to see Melissa.
Melissa hates her mother because Linda is a rotten person and she
stuck Melissa in a boarding school and then forgot her. I think
that Mickey and Maggie got legal guardianship of Melissa, because
Maggie tells Melissa she does not have to see Linda if she does
not want to, because she and Mickey are her legal guardians.

Kimberly goes to Daphne and tells her what happened at Roman's house
and that she needs to get out of the country fast and she needs
Daphne's help. Tony is back from Europe and he and Daphne talk
Kim out of doing anything foolish. They think she should stay in
Salem too where she has family and friends to protect her.

Madame X (I don't know her real name, but she is indeed a Madame)
tells Alex that she will pay the full price for the club Beefcakes
in cash to the owner. Alex tells her that will probably persuade
the owner to sell.

Melissa shows Pete the letter from her mother and she tells him she
does not want to see her mother because she is a selfish woman and
she never cared about Melissa, so now Melissa hates her. Pete tells
Melissa he is saving all his money so that they can get out of
Salem and be together forever. Melissa invites Pete to her dance
recital and shows him the crystal necklace that she borrowed from
Kimberly to wear at the recital.

Alex tells Tony that he is the other investor in Anna DiMera Designs
and that he and Tony are partners. Tony is not particularly thrilled
about it, but he toasts their joint venture anyway. Tony politely
tolerates Alex Marshall, but he does not like him nor does he trust
him, with good reason. Alex married Renee DiMera for her fortune alone
and that is all. Tony was in love with Renee, but he was married to
Anna at the time, so he was not free to marry Renee. This all happened
before I started recording, but I have picked up this information
from references the characters on the show make.

Neil is jumped on by Maxwell's hench men almost immediately after
Neil slugged Max in the mouth. They want to kill Neil, but Max
tells them to let him go, it would not look good for Neil to all
of a sudden disappear. They let him go and Max tells Neil to talk
to Don Craig and tell him about a little orphan boy whose adoptive
parents were killed that Neil is treating for a genetic disorder.
Neil tells Don that he must find the real mother to get her medical
history on the four and a half year old child and asks Don if he may
be able to help in any way. Don says that he may be able to do just that.
Don is thinking of Bo and Meagan. Bo had gone to Don for help in finding
he and Meagan's son and he told Don that the child would be about four
and a half years old now.

Tuesday, September 11

Larry goes to Gwen's apartment as she has been avoiding him. She
slams the door in his face. He calls later and Gwen tells him the
relationship is over and she hangs up. He comes to her apartment
again and Gwen tells him the reason their relationship is over is
because Larry is bought and paid for and not his own man any more.
Larry asks Gwen if she loves him and she says yes, but that it
doesn't matter. Larry tells Gwen he loves her and she runs out of
her apartment. She runs into Eugene and cries on his shoulder.

Hope is almost caught following Max and Meagan. Bo sees her and
rushes her down to his apartment. Meagan calls Bo and says she
is coming right over to his place. Bo rushes upstairs and heads
her off in Shenanigan's.

Alex talks to the owner of Beefcakes and gives him forty-eight
hours to decide whether to sell the club or not.

Melissa tells Eugene the situation between she and Pete and asks
Gene if he knows where Pete works at. He says no.

Meagan tells Bo about the child in the hospital and Bo tells her not
to get her hopes up, that they know nothing about the child at all.
They decide to take a ride together and Bo goes back downstairs to
change. He and Hope kiss -n- cuddle while he is down there and Meagan
comes and starts banging on the door, wondering what is keeping Bo so
long. Bo hides Hope in the bathroom and he and Meagan leave. They park
and talk about their child. Bo tells Meagan he does not picture her
as the motherly type because she is so ruthless as her father's
business associate. She assures Bo that she has a lot of love to give
to their child and Bo, whereas Bo tells her they may be the parents of
the boy, but they are not lovers. He says this after Meagan asks Bo
to kiss her.

Pete tells Melissa that she should at least see her mother because she
may not be around one day and Melissa would regret that. Melissa yells
at Pete to not tell her what to do and tells him she never wants to
see her mother again.

Hope finds Larry at Shenanigan's crying in his drink over the loss of
Gwen. (Of course Hope does not know this, but she does notice that
something is wrong with him.) She tells Larry that he is a sad sight
and that he is a spineless, selfish man who has no set of values and
no morals. She tells him he is just like a prostitute up for sell to
the highest bidder, that being Maxwell Hathaway. Hope asks him what
he thinks of himself and he tells her he couldn't agree with her more.
Hope drives him home as he passes out drunk.

Gwen asks Eugene to stay the night at her place because she does not
want to be alone that night. She sets the couch up for him and they
sit and talk awhile about how lonely they are. They eventually go to
bed... Eugene on the couch and Gwen in her own room.

Meagan talks to the international cartel on her car phone and tells
them that her father's inefficiency has cost them the first two
prisms and that she is taking over the operation and they are to
deal with her in the future. She looks insane with greed and she
wants the "three prisms to rule, three prisms for power" for herself.

Thursday, September 13

Linda Anderson shows up at the Salem Inn and Alex refuses to give her
a table at first. She apparently raked him over the coals when she
lived in Salem a few years ago and Alex tells her she will never
do that to him again.

Bo shows up at the hospital and Meagan and Don are there to meet him.
The relatives of the adoptive parents are there and they tell Meagan
that they had the sealed adoption papers opened and they found out the
real mother is Meagan, so they brought the child to Salem because he
needs treatment and they thought he should be there with his real
mother. This is all a scam, of course. This is Diane's child and all
of these people have been hired by Mawell to try and convince Bo and
Salem that this is he and Meagan's child. Now I know that Meagan never
had a child by Bo and she has been plotting this for a long time.

Melissa wants to leave Salem with Pete but he tells her that she must
finish high school first. Pete promises to be at Melissa's dance
recital, somewhere where her family will not see him, like backstage.

Colliope questions Eugene about where he spent the night and he tells
her to mind her own business. Eugene gets a call from Gwen and
Colliope is jealous.

Neil tells Maxwell that he can not believe that Max is trying to pass
off this little boy as Bo and Meagan's child. Neil knows it is not
their's. Max tells Neil that if he says anything to anyone, his
medical career is over. He also threatens Neil's family so Neil
clams up real fast.

Maggie brings Melissa's costume to the dance hall and the man who was
hired to retrieve the prism is there dressed as a custodian. He takes
the suit from Melissa and tells her he will hang it up for her, that
it is part of his job. Maggie gets the costume back, explaining that
she wants to take some pictures of Melissa in her costume at home.
The man lets her take it.

Maggie tells Melissa that she and Mickey do not trust Linda, but they
do not want to come between Melissa and her real mother. Melissa says
that maybe she will just go back to where she came from and leave them
all alone.

Don sees Linda and they talk about Melissa. Don tells Linda that
Melissa does not have the capability to hate anyone and he advises
Linda to not try and manipulate Melissa for her love. He says she
will probably warm to Linda in her own time.

Melissa goes back to the dance hall with her costume and waits for
her "mother", Maggie. It is dark in the dance hall and Melissa
can't see anything. The hired man comes up behind her and grabs
her and puts a gun to her head.

Bo and Meagan go into the hospital room to see their "son" for the
first time. His name is Zachary (sp?). Bo reaches out to touch him
and he pushes Bo's hand away and tells him to leave him alone.

Pete comes into the dance hall through the back door. His intention
was to watch Melissa dance from the back. He sees Melissa being held
at gunpoint and he runs and grabs the man who has Melissa. He kicks
the gun out of his reach and they start fighting. Maggie and Tom
Horton walk in and the man runs away, without the costume or the
prism. They call the police and then Maggie asks what Pete was
doing there. They take Melissa home after the police have finished
questioning everyone and Melissa tells her mother that Pete saved
her and no telling what would have happened to her if he had not
been there. Since Melissa did not dance in the recital after all
because of the attack, they decide to return Daphne DiMera's prism
necklace to her on the way home.

Abe tells Roman that Bo has found his little boy. Roman rushes to
the hospital. Marlena comes in right after Roman leaves and Abe tells
her the good news and she takes off for the hospital after Roman.

Zachary throws his toy at Bo and tells him that he wants to go home.
Bo placates him and they start throwing a small football back and forth.
Bo asks the boy where he learned to throw such a good pass and the
boy says he learned at Renford Park. Bo says that is funny, there is
a Renford Park in Salem too. Everyone is supposed to believe the boy
came from Houston. Bo asks the boy if his father taught him and the
boys says no, he never saw his father, that he went to the park with
his mother. (Who was Diane of course. She went to visit her little
boy at the foster parent's house where he was staying until Diane
could support him. Of course she was killed before she could do that).
Bo feels something is not right about the boy's history and he
questions Neil closely. Neil tells him that he doesn't have the
answers.

The man who was hired to get the prism back shows up at Maxwell's
door and asks to speak to Meagan. Max demands that he tell him
what he wants and the man tells Max that he was not able to get
the prism back because there was someone that came in and helped
the girl and then more people came in and he was instructed to not
hurt anyone. Max tells the man to leave the country. Max is furious
that Meagan told him nothing about this plan and that they still have
not been able to get the second prism in their hands.

Melissa tells Maggie that she just wishes Linda would leave Salem.
Melissa tells Maggie again how Pete saved her and she asks Maggie
if she is going to tell Mickey that Pete was there. Maggie says no,
she doesn't think it is necessary and she says that they owe Pete
their thanks for his help.

Pete calls Melissa and tells her that he loves her and he is glad she
is okay and that he will be working hard so that they may be together
one day. Melissa tells Pete she loves him too and she will try to see
him soon.

Meagan tells Max that the "aunt and uncle" are playing their parts
perfectly. Max tells Meagan that the hired man did not get the prism
back and he wants to know why she didn't tell him anything about the
plan. Meagan doesn't answer him, but she is furious and she says she
will get the prism back herself.

Meagan tells Maxwell at breakfast the next day that she will be buying
a new house and setting up a little boy's room. She tells Max she
knows Bo will want to marry her now that they have found their "son".
Max asks her isn't she rushing into things and he can't see her
playing the devoted, loving mother. She says she will at first and
then hire a nanny to take care of the boy so that she and Bo can spend
all of their time together.

Tony asks Kimberly to take some pictures that she shot over again.
These are the shots of Anna's designs on the models Alex hired.

Pete talks to the new owner of Beefcakes, Madame DuPre. She assures
him that he will stay on as an employee of the club, and she tells
him that his potential to make a great deal more money than he does
now is good, if he will sign a contract. Pete is wary to do so, but
she tells him it is only for six months.

Bo talks to Marlena about the little boy that everyone thinks is his
and he gets a picture of Diane's child as a baby.

Kimberly has moved into Kayla's house while Kayla is gone. I forget
where they sent that character, but Kayla is Kimberly, Roman, and
Bo's sister.

Bo makes a person to person phone call to a Miss Evelyn Harris is
Paris. She is not in, so he leaves a message saying his phone call
is urgent.

Jonathan finds Hope at Shenanigan's and tells her she must go to a
meeting and he was sent there to make sure she gets to the meeting.

Meagan goes into Zachary's hospital room and tells the boy that she
is his real mother and that he will be going to live with her. Zach
runs out of the room screaming she is not his mother. Marlena sees
him and brings him back to his room as Bo comes in. Marlena tells
Bo what Zach said Meagan told him and that it upset him immensely.

Bo is alone with Zachary later and he shows Zach a picture of Diane,
his real mother. Zach says he knows her but he doesn't like her
any more because she said she would come back for him, but she never
did. Bo is now convinced, from the baby picture of Zach and what he
said about Diane, that this is Diane's little boy that she was trying
to find in New Orleans.

Eugene and Gwen go on a picnic together. Colliope kept telling them
that it was going to rain so that they wouldn't go, but they didn't
listen. It starts pouring down buckets on their picnic. :-)

Tony arrives at Kimberly's house with a house warming gift of a bottle
of fine wine. They sit in front of the fire drinking the wine and
Tony tells Kimberly that she is very attractive. She insists to Tony
that they keep their relationship as "friendly enemies" and not
become friends or otherwise.

Hope is going on a month long campaign for Larry. Eugene has been
getting bad vibes about Hope and an airplane and he tells her he
doesn't think it is a good idea for her to go on the trip. She agrees
but she has to think of a way to get out of it. She also hasn't told
Bo yet and she is desperate to do so, hoping that he will help her
figure out a way to get out of going.

Bo reaches Evelyn Harris in Paris. He tells her he has found her son.
Evelyn Harris is really Diane! (And this whole time I thought the
character was really killed off, probably along with all the other
viewers) Hope has walked into Bo's apartment as he is talking to
Diane and she overhears him. She goes down one step into his place
and Bo whirls around. Hope asks him if Diane is really alive.

Bo explains to Hope how Diane is still alive. He says she faked dead
when Jonathan came into the room and then Bo smuggled her out of the
country to Paris. Bo tells Hope he had to tell everyone that Diane
was murdered so that no one would know the truth and be in danger and
possibly endanger Diane. Hope says the reason she came to his place
was to show him the plane tickets that she has to go on a political
junkett (sp?) with Larry. Bo says he won't let her go and they will
think of some way to keep her in Salem.

Abe has Melissa and Pete look at mug shots to try and identify the
men that attacked Melissa at the dance hall.

Madame DuPre asks a waiter at Beefcakes to tell her everything he
knows about Pete Jannings.

Meagan overhears Melissa tell Pete that she returned the prism
necklace to Daphne DiMera and that she put it in her safe in the
penthouse. Meagan tells Maxwell where it is and that he must
retrieve it.

Hope convinces Bo that Meagan was behind everything about trying to
pass Diane's child off as his own. Hope had overheard Meagan tell
Max once that when Bo saw the boy, he would fall into her arms.
Hope told Bo that and he agrees with her. He know the boy is Diane's
now. Hope tells Bo that she thinks Meagan never had a child by Bo,
that she lied about the whole thing.

Meagan runs into Bo and tells him the reason she told Zachary she
was his mother was so he would get to know her better. Bo is
playing along with Meagan's game, pretending he thinks the child
is his until he can think of a way to get the boy back to Diane.

Bo calls Diane in Paris and tells her he will protect and take care
of Zachary until he can get Zachary back to her. Diane tells Bo she
doesn't even know how to begin to thank him for all he has done for
her. Bo tells her to just keep her hopes high.

Bo asks Dr. Tom Horton to think of reasons why Hope can't go on a
month long campaign trip. They think of a number of reasons why a
"pregnant" woman shouldn't go on a month long campaign. Too much time
in the air, bad food, too many hours on her feet, not enough sleep,
etc. Tom tells Bo he will insist to Larry that Hope can't go and
since he is a doctor, Larry will listen to him.

Hope sees Meagan and tells her she wants to bury the hatchet. Hope
is pretending to want to be close friends with Meagan so she can keep
an eye on her and also possibly learn something about what Meagan is
up to with her devious plans. Meagan doesn't buy it and tells Max as
much. She also tells him to remind the men they hired to keep a very
careful eye on Hope and if she gets out of line, Meagan tells Max
that Hope just might wonder out into the fog one night and never be
heard from again. Hope overhears Meagan saying this and she slips
away without anyone hearing her. It is an extremely foggy night and
they couldn't see Hope hiding behind a pillar on the dock, where they
were speaking. Hence, the reference to the fog by Meagan also, I
guess.

Maxwell tells Meagan that he will get the prism back if he has to
blow up the DiMera penthouse.

Monday, October 1

Bo prepares to leave for New Orleans. Eugene gives him a new tracking
device to track the first prism that is in the stomach of an
alligator. (This is a bit much, I agree).

Shane the butler is following and watching Kimberly. He wears a gold
pinky ring. There is another man around following Bo and Hope now and
he wears a gold pinky ring also. (I think this is some kind of
organization, but it is still unclear if these men are working for
Maxwell Hathaway or not).

Colliope and Eugene had a date and Colliope tells Kimberly it was a
disaster.

Marlena finds a note in Roman's coat pocket. It is an anonomous (sp?)
note stating that Andre has been spotted in Europe. Marlena asks Roman
if he is looking for Andre and he tells her he is. She asks him to
forget about it because she doesn't want him to be in danger. She
tells him she and the babies she is carrying need him and she starts
crying. Roman tells Marlena he will turn it over to Abe and
international security.

Pete was supposed to meet Melissa at Shenanigan's after his new act
debut at Beefcakes. He is late and Melissa receives a note from
someone and she leaves. Pete calls her at home and Melissa tells
him they are finished. Pete doesn't understand what is going on.
The note Melissa got was supposedly from Pete and it said he couldn't
make their date, but the note was not from Pete. It was from Madame
DuPre. She is trying to keep them apart for some reason. (I think
that reason is because Madame DuPre is really Melissa's real mother
and she is either trying to protect her daughter or she wants Pete
to make a lot of money for her and she doesn't want him to be
distracted with Melissa).

Linda Anderson shows up at Maggie's house and asks to see Melissa.
Linda tells Melissa that she will be staying in Salem. Melissa tells
her she doesn't want her around and she runs from the room.

Meagan has bought an apartment to live in with Zachary. She calls Bo
and asks him to come over to help her with Zachary because she can't
handle him alone. Bo stays the night on the couch with Zachary, after
they both fall asleep while Bo is telling a story to Zach.

Maggie and Melissa prepare for their trip to New York. They decide to
leave a day early.

Hope has started wearing a pillow under her clothes to show a
pregnancy that really isn't there.

Marlena starts having pains and she asks Roman to call the ambulance.
They go to the hospital. Marlena says it is too early yet for her to
go into labor.

Neil receives a letter from Danielle, Carlo's mother who lives in
South America. He tries to call her because she said in her letter
that some men came to her house asking about Neil. She is not at
home when he tries to call, but he tells the operator to keep trying.

Marlena goes to the hospital and they hook her up to a fetal monitor.
Roman is very nervous, but after some time they come out and tell him
that she went into false labor and she will be fine. Her contractions
are receding and she is ordered by her doctor to get plenty of rest
and not get upset about anything. Roman feels responsible because
Marlena found the note in his coat pocket and became very upset and
then she went into premature labor.

Pete goes to Hope's apartment and tells her about the incident at
Shenanigan's and what happened when he called Melissa at home. He
asks Hope to talk to Melissa and find out what happened that night
that made her so angry at him.

Maxwell drops in at Neil and Liz's house. He tells Neil he will need
his services from time to time and Neil tells him to get out of his
house and never come back.

Gwen moves some of her things out of the apartment over Shenanigan's
that she and Larry leased to use for their rendevous. Chris helps
her out because he says she looks like she needed a friend.

Carlo goes to the hospital to talk to Neil, but Neil was unavailable.
Liz asks Carlo what he went there to talk to Neil about and Carlo
tells her that he was going to tell Neil that he kissed Liz and is
in love with her. Liz tells Carlo he can't tell Neil because it would
hurt him too much. Carlo agrees to keep it between them.

Danielle calls Neil from South America and tells him that two American
men were at her house asking about Neil's past. She said she told them
she hadn't seen Neil in years, so she wouldn't know anything. Carlo
hears Neil talking to his mother and he asks to speak with her. He
assures his mother he is fine and he tells her he loves her. Danielle
tells Neil that she heard something in Carlo's voice that she couldn't
quite make out and she asks Neil is Carlo is really okay. He assures
her he is.

Mickey overhears Pete telling Gwen that he called Melissa's school
and she wasn't there. Pete is trying to find her to get an explanation
about what happened at Shenanigan's. Mickey and Pete go to a table at
Shenanigan's and talk about when Pete and Melissa started seeing each
other again. Pete tells Mickey they try to see each other every chance
they get. Mickey thanks Pete for being honest with him. Pete asks why
Mickey didn't turn him in when he found out Pete was at the dance
hall with Melissa and Mickey says it was because Pete was instrumental
in saving Melissa's life. Mickey says he knew they were seeing each
other again when he found out Pete was at the dance hall. Pete tells
Mickey that he and Melissa had a date at Shenanigan's the other night
and she wasn't there and when he called her she was upset. He tells
Mickey the thinks something is wrong. Mickey tells Pete Melissa went
out of town to New York for a few days with Maggie. Pete tells Mickey
again that the shooting was an accident and he never meant to harm
him. Mickey tells Pete to just forget about the shooting. (Maybe there
is hope for Pete and Melissa yet)

*Note* No one (either audience or other characters of the show) have
seen Madame duPre's face because she wears fashionable hats
with veils down over the face and she keeps her head down.
That is why no one knows yet that she is really Linda
Anderson. (That is my prediction, at least) Lately she has
been raising her head slightly and I have been able to get
a close look at her nose and lips and they are the same as
the character who plays Linda Anderson, so I just know it's
her! Madame duPre's hair is shoulder length, straight and
blond, which is what Linda Anderson's hair used to be when
she was on the show a few years ago. When Linda Anderson
came back to Salem this time though, she had short brown
	curly hair.

Maxwell hires a women named Miss Honeycutt to get information out of
Daphne DiMera about the prism. She is a nurse and Max suggests to
Tony to use Miss Honeycutt's services as a gift from Maxwell and
Meagan. She is also a hypnotist. Tony agrees to accept her services
as a private nurse for his mother.

Pete talks to Chris about Melissa. He also tells Chris where he works
and shows him the flyer Madame duPe had made up of him and passed
around. He tells Chris he signed a contract and now he wishes he
hadn't. Chris tells him to hire a lawyer to look the contract over.
Pete tells Chris he doesn't really like the job, but he is there for
the money. He tells Chris he is saving for he and Melissa's future.
They go to Beefcakes and have a beer and sit and talk. Chris meets
Madame duPre there and he asks Pete after she leaves if she always
wears the hat and veil to cover her face. Pete tells him yes, she
does. Pete also tells Chris he is sorry Tess left Chris and that
he thinks she was wrong to do so. Chris doesn't want to talk about
it.

Andre is looking at the newspapers from Salem and he sees a picture
of Kimberly and Don in the society section. Kimberly had the prism
necklace on that night and Andre sees it and turns to his companion,
Abigail (Delia's sister) and tells her that it is one of the three
prisms and that it must be in Salem. Then he sees Maxwell Hathaway
in the background of the picture and wonders aloud if the "cartel"
is there in Salem at Stephano DiMera's orders to retrieve the prism
or if they are on their own to retrieve it for themselves. Andre does
not know for sure whether Stephano is alive or not and he says that
if he is not alive, then the prisms are rightfully Andre's, because
apparently Andre, being Stephano's nephew, was his heir, because Tony
turned out to not be Stephano's son and Stephano's daughter Renee was
killed by Andre. This also means that the prisms were probably
Stephano's at one time. Which is why the one prism necklace was sent
to Daphne. She said to Kimberly when the jewels arrived that Stephano
had wanted her to have the jewels one day and on his alleged "demise"
they were sent to Daphne, probably by whoever took care of his will
and estate. (This whole prism thing is still sort of sketchy, I am
only able to figure it out as they give out clues as to the whole
picture of what is going on with this story line).

Roman has to assure his daughter Carrie (by Anna) that he loves her
very much and she doesn't have to feel threatened by the arrival of
the twins. He takes her to the park to spend some time with her.

Meagan takes Tony out to lunch while Miss Honeycutt watches Daphne.
She asks him if they have solved the mystery of where Daphne put her
jewels and Tony says he doesn't know and he really doesn't care.

Roman asks Abe why he is checking out Larry Welche's background and
especially his father. Abe doesn't tell him anything, just says he
has a hunch about something.

Meagan tells Maxwell they only have a few months to get all three
prisms. They wonder why everyone they have hired so far has been
unsuccessful in getting the prisms for them. They decide Miss
Honeycutt is their best bet at the moment. Miss Honeycutt tells
Maxwell that Daphne told her she moved the jewels to Astor Street.
Maxwell tells her that is not enough to go on, that Astor street
stretches from one end of Salem to the other. Miss Honeycutt tells
him at least it is a start and she will get more out of Daphne.

Madame duPre tears up Pete's contract in front of him and tells
him she is going to double his salary. She does this because Pete
had expressed his unhappiness at signing the contract. Now she
is trying to lure him with a lot of money so he won't leave the
club. He is her best moneymaker at the club, so she doesn't want
to lose him.

Friday, October 5

Melissa comes home early from her trip to New York with Maggie.
Mickey takes Melissa to lunch at the Salem Inn and promises not
to ask her any questions about Pete. He does tell Melissa he talked
to Pete though, and he knows they are seeing one another again.

Tony, Alex, and Anna are trying to figure out where they can shoot
the new designs. Eugene offers them the use of his estate in Haiti.
It is an old family estate.

Marlena had a child once named D.J. who died of crib death. She is
understandably nervous about the arrival of the twins, so she orders
mattresses for their cribs that monitor their heartbeat and breathing.
If they should stop breathing or their heartbeat becomes irregular,
an alarm goes off to alert the parents that something is wrong.

Roman tells Marlena that he turned the letters about Andre over to
Abe. Marlena is relieved and happy.

Colliope is presently staying at Eugene's house until she can get
herself settled. She mentions to Tony that Eugene doesn't like her
and he offers her to stay at his penthouse until she can find her
own place. Tony tells Colliope that Eugene is his distant cousin.
Colliope is is awe when she finds out first, that Eugene is rich,
and second that he is related to a count. She is going to Haiti
with Anna and everyone else and asks Eugene to go with them. He
says he doesn't know if he will go or not.

Jonathan tells Maxwell and Meagan that he had every bank and savings
and loan on Astor Street checked for something in Daphne DiMera's
name, but that there was nothing in her name.

Abe tells Roman that Larry Welch is adopted and the information that
he gives to the press is about his adoptive family, not his real one.
Abe tells Roman they are going to check out Welch's real family and
see what skeletons he is trying to hide in his closet.

Abe also tells Roman that they know Andre is in Europe performing in
small theater, but they haven't spotted him yet.

Marlena had a twin sister that was killed a few years ago (I think).
Her name was Samantha. Marlena and Roman are going to name the female
twin Samantha. They haven't yet decided on a name for the male twin.

Melissa tells her mother, Linda Anderson, to keep her nose out of her
business when Linda inquires why Melissa looks so unhappy.

Melissa sees Pete talking to a beautiful woman at Salem Inn when she
and her father go there for lunch. Melissa runs out and her father
goes after her. Pete didn't see her. He was talking to a model that
Alex hired to go to Haiti and shoot the designs and she suggested to
Alex to hire Pete. Pete had asked Alex for a job when he heard how
much the model's hourly fee was, which is $500.00. Alex said he would
think it over and talk with his partners Anna and Tony. Pete thanks
the model for suggesting him and asks her if she thinks he could
really model. She assures him he can.

Andre and Abigail arrive at Stephano's estate on his island and find
no one there. Andre assumes Stephano is dead then and he and Abigail
leave and head for Salem to get the prism.

*Note about Monday's update*

I forgot to explain that Colliope went to the hospital with Tony
last week and asked Daphne if she could borrow the prism necklace
for the Haiti shoot. Daphne said yes, she may and she said she would
call the bank that her jewels are in and arrange to have Colliope
pick up the jewelry piece. Colliope went to the bank and picked up
the necklace from the bank manager. He suggested she use an armed
guard to escort her to where she was going, but she told him she would
just put the prism necklace under her other necklaces and then no one
would even be able to see it. (She was wearing LOTS of tacky looking,
cheap necklaces that no one would even look twice at. I think I
mentioned before that Colliope dresses really eccentrically (sp?))
Anyway, on her way out of the bank, Maxwell Hathaway bumps into her
(he is drunk) and he doesn't even see the prism necklace on her
because it is camoflaged so well. So, Colliope is in possession of
the prism necklace now and no one knows it yet. That is why when Eugene
asked Colliope if Daphne told her where the jewels were, Colliope said
she knew nothing. One of the stipulations of Daphne allowing Colliope
to borrow the necklace was that she tell NO ONE where her jewels were.
Colliope also told Daphne that she would protect the necklace with her
life.

Wednesday, October 10

Colliope is staying at Tony's penthouse. She wakes him up early in the
morning when she is exercising to loud music. He calmly explains to
her that he sleeps before dawn and could she please not exercise to
loud music anymore. She tells him okay.

Eugene gets two sets of keys made for Gwen. He calls her and tells her
he has the keys. She tells him to meet her if front of her house. He
sees Maxwell Hathaway's car in Gwen's driveway and decides to keep
one set of the duplicated keys. He tells Gwen that Maxwell is
dangerous and to be careful. He gives her the original and one
duplicate set of the keys and she gets them back into Maxwell's
coat pocket just in time before he wakes up.

Tony is going to take his mother Daphne to Florida so she can
recuperate.

Andre and Abigail make up a list of people who may have the prism.
Abigail then goes to Shenanigan's to see if Tony shows up. He does.
Abigail takes note of what he is wearing and also takes a picture of
him with a mini camera. She also plants a bug under his table at
Shenanigan's. She then goes and buys Andre the same clothes Tony was
wearing.

Tony meets with Anna and Alex at Shenanigan's to discuss business.
He tells them he is going to take his mother to Florida. Alex shows
them the photos Kimberly took of Liz and they are terrible. Tony
tells them to not say anything to Kimberly about the photos. He
wants to take care of it himself. Anna gives Tony the financial report
on the design business so he can study it while he is on the plane to
Florida.

Meagan tries unsuccessfully to locate her father. He is late to his
office. Eugene calls Max's office and Meagan answers. He asks if Max
will be in his office all day and Meagan says yes, more than likely.

Maxwell wakes up on Gwen's couch with a terrible hangover. He
apologizes to Gwen for passing out drunk at her house and he asks
to see her again. She says maybe, if he does not have a repeat
performance of the night before. He assures her he will not be in
that drunkened a state again.

Hope in interviewed live on television about her husband Larry. Ben
(Larry's brother) is there also and Hope shows him the family bible
with the name "Chervot" (sorry, I spelled it Shirvot yesterday) in it.
He says he does not recognize the name. The interviewer, Hope, Alice
Horton, Melissa, and Ben go to lunch after the interview. Hope sees
Meagan and Zachary there and goes over to talk to Meagan. They have
words about Bo and the interviewer overhears. She goes to call her
office with the scoop. Meagan presses the receiver on the phone down
and disconnects the call. She tells the reporter to not bother with
small gossip, that Meagan has a big scoop for the interviewer instead.
Meagan tells Hope she just saved her tail and Hope should feel lucky
to have a "friend" like her. They really hate one another, but only
act civil to one another in public; Hope to get information (if she
can) from Meagan and Meagan because she knows what Hope is up to and
just playing along.

Tony leaves for Florida and Andre starts impersonating him. Andre
learned from the bug under Tony's table at Shenanigan's that he would
be leaving for Florida, so Andre takes this chance to impersonate
Tony and try to locate the prism. He goes to Tony's penthouse and
Colliope tells him she thought he just left. He tells her he forgot
something. Anna and Alex come in then. Colliope mentions to Andre
something about using the crystal necklace in the Haiti shoot and
Andre looks as though he just struck gold.

Kimberly is at Shenanigan's being watched by one of Shane's men
when she is joined by Don Craig.

Melissa demands to know why Hope and Meagan had words about Bo when
Hope is supposed to be in love with her husband Larry.

Andre tries to detain Colliope to question her further about the
crystal prism necklace, but she has to leave with Anna and Alex.

Susie, Melissa's roomate at dance camp, sees Pete at Shenanigan's
and tells him she saw him dance at Beefcakes. She tells him she
will be at Beefcakes watching him every night and she tells him
if he ever gets tired of Melissa, she is available. Chris overhears
the conversation and tells Pete he should tell Melissa where he works
before she gets wind of it from someone like Susie.

Roman joins Kimberly at Shenanigan's and asks her why she has been
avoiding their parents since she got back from Europe. Kimberly
says she is having problems with her photography work and she
doesn't want to face her parents because they expect a lot from her.
They have put her on a pedestal and she doesn't want to disappoint
them by not being the absolute best. Roman suggest she talk to Marlena
if her problems are affecting her work. Kim is insulted and runs out.
Don Craig runs after Kimberly and tells her he thinks she is a very
attractive lady and she shouldn't feel too badly if her work is in a
slump right now because she has so much more to offer as a human
