Well Samantha is dead and buried now. It all happenned kind of
quick. They did drag out her being taken off the respirator for a week
or so, but there was really no buildup before her death at all. We
did notice in a scene prior to her death that she looked as if she were
on drugs (the actress, not the character). She had real squinty eyes
an such. We wondered if maybe she had been fired or something?
Of course Sam being such an important character, they can't just
forget about her. Now they have her appearing to her husband Rafe in
visions. Thank the Lord for "Fast Forward" on VCR's. The really BIG
thing they thought up to keep her memory with us is that she is PREGNANT.
Or actually she was pregnant. They transplanted the very young fetus
out of Sam and into another woman who is willing to carry the baby
and then give it over to Rafe after it is born. Who is the other woman?
Why Delilah of course. We don't know yet if the transplantation worked.
I have a sick feeling it did though.
As for the murder. Captain Ed Hall (police) was told by the
U.S. Government that Jinx Rollins was a special person and that she
was out of the country and not to be touched. They didn't say just
why she was so special. She is working at the Crown Casino in San Carlos.
To refresh your memory, she is the photographer that was also at the
murder, but got away. Marco Dane and Rafe Garretson are both on a plane
right now on their way to talk to her.
About Beau Buchannon and Didi O'Neill. You know they replaced the
original Harry O'Neill with a new actor! They did this about a month ago
and I am still not comfortable watching him. He doesn't look like the
father of a 25 ? year old. Anyway, Beau finally tol Didi about his
illegitimate son Drew who is being raised by Becky (Drew's mom) and Asa,
(Beau's dad and Drew's grandpa). She had a hard time accepting it at first
but is looking forward to being with Drew now. But Beau is being really
dumb and he told Asa and Becky he thought it might be better if
Asa adopted Drew and if Beau just dropped out of Drew's life. Asa and
Becky aren't too happy with Beau at the moment.
Finally, they have just started up a new story, or should I say
brought back an old one? Guess who just came back into town after
being gone for three years. Right! Tina, Vicki Buchannon's ward.
Seems Tina got mad at alot of people three years ago when her father
died (I really don't know that story), but hopes everyone will forgive
her and take her back now.
One more thing. Alex Crown still hasn't found his son Rob yet. Rob
has been hiding in the theatre with Cassie. Yesterday Alex visited
the theatre with Cassie's mom Dorian. So Rob decided to move someplace
else. He still thinks his dad is the one that killed his granddad
and that he will kill him (Rob) too given the chance. So Rob gave
Cassie a big long kiss and ran out.
