+ All My Children - Monday October 29 - Wednesday October 31 Andrew and Cynthia anxiously await Chase Preston's blood type. Cynthia intercepts the report and modifies it. When Palmer reads it, he discovers that Andrew is AB-, Cynthia is B-, and Chase was O+. Palmer goes to Pine Valley Hospital and manages to get into the files. There he discovers that Ross' blood type is compatible with Andrew's and he concludes that Ross is Andrew's father. Palmer gives Andrew an $80,000 Arabian Stallion, Abu. Nina is shocked to hear the results of the blood tests, since Ross assured her that Andrew was not his son. Tad carries on cheerfully in Dottie's absence while Edna worries that Dottie is about to miscarry. Dottie refuses to go to Pine Valley Hospital and Edna takes her to Center City Hospital where she miscarries (what the doctors described as a spontaneous abortion, something was wrong with the fetus). Phoebe blames Donna for Brooke's decision not to return to Pine Valley. Donna tells Tom that Brooke is planning to stay in King's Cross and Tom angrily confronts Brooke. Phoebe offers Donna the first refusal rights to her share of the Glamourama if she moves out of Tom and Brooke's house. Tom goes to Mr. Lewis (station manager at WRCW) and tells him about Brooke's offer from WCBC in King's Cross. Donna persuades Tad to offer to buy the Glamourama from Phoebe (fronting for her). Yvonne tells Jesse that the two of them were so good the night before that he has also been offered a job at the Ron-Day-Vous. Erica consults Judge Peabody about her marital status if Adam were still alive. Judge Peabody tells her that she would still be married to Adam. Billy Clyde calls Erica and tells her to take the ransom money to the corner of Locust and Pine Streets in Center City. Billy Clyde tells Juell that they will have to kill Adam. Erica puts the money in a trash can in the alley as instructed (although she had to persuade a street transient Maudie to leave her be) and returns home. Meanwhile, Adam persuades Juell to let him free. Billy Clyde return to find a note from Juell and the police waiting for him. Billy Clyde gets free after exchanging shots with the police. Linda talks with Liza about Cliff and Nina's fight. Liza is pleased to hear of the fight, but doesn't tell Linda that she knows they were fighting over the show on quackery that Cliff and Liza are preparing. Nina offers Zach a large sum of money for his research, which he "reluctantly" takes. Liza gives Cliff some cologne as a present before the taping of their first show, she slowly puts some on him, they start to kiss, but Cliff draws back. --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle
