----------------------------------------------------------------- Thursday, November 8 Melissa hears on the radio that the plane to Haiti is missing. She learns from the announcement that Larry Welch's wife Hope was on the plane with the members of Anna DiMera Designs. Andre and Anna are out walking in the jungle and they find a bag. It is Carlo's. It has the letter from Danielle (Carlo's mother) to Neil Curtis in it. Gwen goes to Larry's office and congratulates him on winning Lieutenant Governor of the state. Larry tells Gwen that Hope was not really pregnant and that she pushed Larry down the stairs and went to the airport and got on the plane to Haiti to be with her true love, Bo. Larry tells Gwen that he came up with the story of Hope's miscarriage on the spur of the moment, but that it worked. He also tells Gwen he really needed her when the story of his real father broke and he would like to find out who gave the sto- ry to the press. He says he would like to kill the person. (It was Gwen, of course, but Larry does not know that and she does not plan on telling him, especially now). Pete tells Chris that Melissa ended their relationship because he lied to her. Chris gives Pete a lecture on trust in a relation- ship. Pete tells Chris that he has to find the guy who sold him the stolen car before he goes to court. Pete tells Chris that he quit at Beefcakes and Chris asks Pete if he would like to work at Shenanigan's again. Pete says okay. Tony slips in and out of consciousness. He thinks he is the only survivor of the plane crash. Alice Horton and hr granddaughter Melissa go to Shenanigan's for lunch. Chris sees them and talks to Melissa about giving Pete another chance. He tells her he gave Pete the Chris Kosicheck lecture on trust. Alice agrees that Melissa should forgive Pete and Melissa finally agrees. Alice tells Melissa she is going to Larry's office and confront him about Hope. Linda walks into Shenanigan's and sees Melissa. She confronts her about selling her shares of Anderson Manufacturing so low. Melis- sa tells Linda she didn't want to be a part of anything Linda was a part of and she walks out. Hope tells Bo that she is afraid since no rescue planes have showed up yet. Bo tells her at least one good thing has come out of the whole thing and that is that they are together now. Alice confronts Larry and tells him that she knew Hope was not pregnant and that their whole marriage was a lie. She demands to know why Hope was so hysterical when she got on the plane to Haiti. Larry tells her that Will tried to rape her, but he threw Will off and then he and Hope got into a fight and she pushed Larry down the stairs and he hit his head and was knocked out and that was when Hope ran out. Alice tells Larry that if anything has happened to Hope, she is going to hold Larry directly respon- sible. Anna accidently calls Andre "Andre" and he tells her he is sorry to hear that she knows who he really is. He takes his knife out and Anna begs Andre not to kill her. She tells him she will not tell anyone who he is because she does not want to die. Andre tells her that he won't kill her but she had better be careful because he will be watching her all the time. Alice goes to Marlena's house and tells her the truth about Hope and Larry and Bo. Marlena is shocked at the news, but happy that Hope and Bo are still in love. Chris owns a health club called The Body Connection. He tells Gwen he is going to ask Pete to work for him there. Barry comes into Shenanigan's and sees Chris. Chris kicks him out of his restaurant. Eugene, Hope, and Bo get lost in the jungle. They finally run into Andre and Anna. Bo asks Andre if he has seen the receiver part of the radio and Andre says no, he hasn't. Melissa calls Beefcakes and Madame duPre answers. Melissa asks for Pete, but Madame duPre tells her he is not there, even though Pete is practically standing right in front of her packing his bag, since he is quitting Beefcakes. Madame duPre takes Pete out to lunch for his last day working for her and she gets him drunk on champagne. She takes him home to his apartment over Shenanigan's. Melissa tells Chris that Maggie is still in New York taking care of her sick friend Arlene. Mickey is there with her, but he will be coming home to Salem soon. Andre and Anna tell Eugene, Bo, and Hope that they found Carlo's bag. Bo says they have found almost everything so far except the radio receiver. Melissa comes into Shenanigan's to wait for Pete. He is supposed to start working for Chris at 3:00 pm. What Melissa doesn't know is that Pete is drunk and he is already upstairs in his apartment with Madame duPre.
