----------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, December 4 Honeycutt comes back from New Orleans and meets with Meagan at Shenanigans. Honeycutt tells Meagan she has a surprise for her and she gives Meagan the first prism. She tells Meagan that she and Jonathan Carlton met with some poachers who were selling al- ligator skins and they said they found this crystal piece in the belly of an alligator. Honeycutt tells Meagan that she and Jonathan posed as buyers of skins and while the poachers were be- ing distracted talking business with Jonathan, Honeycutt snatched the prism and then they left. Honeycutt tells Meagan that she called the authorities on the poachers. Meagan has the prism in her hands when Shane Donovan walks into Shenanigans. Meagan hur- riedly slips the prism into the bread basket that is sitting on the table. Neil walks in on Liz and Carlo in bed together. He is shocked and tells Liz the reason he came back was to apologize, but he says there is no reason to apologize to a whore for doing what she does best. Neil throws the roses at Liz. Shane tells Meagan and Honeycutt that he wants them to hand over the prism. He tells them that he has a gun pointed at them under the table and he wouldn't hesitate to blow them away if they tried anything. He tells them he knows Honeycutt went down to New Orleans to get the prism and he knows she brought it back to Salem. Honeycutt tells him she doesn't have the prism and he asks her to leave so that he can talk to Meagan alone. Honeycutt leaves and Shane tells Meagan he knows she is involved with all of it because her name was in Stephano DiMera's Triad Experiment book. Meagan tells Shane that she worked for Stephano and that was all, she did a job and was paid well for it and now she is going to look for other work. She tells Shane she doesn't have the prism, that it was already turned over to the cartel and it is probably already in the hands of Stephano DiMera. While they are talking, the waiter comes and clears off the table and takes the bread basket and throws it in the bus pan. Neil punches Carlo in the face and tells him he has five minutes to leave or Neil will kill him. Carlo leaves and Neil starts packing his bags. He tells Liz he is leaving her. Liz tries to talk Neil into staying, but he tells her he never wants to see her again and he leaves. Shane leaves Meagan's table and goes to sit at the bar to watch Meagan. Melissa comes into Shenanigan's with her Aunt Marie to have lunch. Meagan sees Melissa and asks her if she has seen Bo. Melissa tells her no she hasn't and even if she did, she wouldn't tell Meagan. Melissa tells Meagan that she is a fraud and a liar and Bo Brady is a fine man and he would want nothing to do with a sleaze like Meagan. Meagan goes back to her table in a huff. Marie sees Carlo come into Shenanigan's and slump down in a chair and she tells Melissa that she is going to go over to the Curtis house and check on Liz and Noel. Melissa tries to talk to Carlo, but he tells her he has a problem right now and he just wants to be left alone. Melissa goes back to her own table. Barry walks into Shenanigans and sees Melissa alone and he asks her if he can join her for lunch. She says sure and they start talking. Barry tells Melissa she looks like she could be cheered up and he asks her if she would like to go see a funny Laurel and Hardy movie. Melissa says that sounds like just what she needs. She tells Barry she has been depressed lately. Barry tells Melissa he heard that she is a dancer and he would love to see her dance sometime. He asks Melissa if she would take him to a live ballet performance sometime and explain the finer points. She tells him she would like to do that. Pete walks into Shenanigans and sees Melissa and Barry having lunch together. Pete tries to talk to Carlo, but Carlo is unresponsive, so Pete walks out. Marie goes over to Liz's house and finds Liz and Noel upstairs in Liz's bedroom. Marie tells Liz that the front door was left wide open and that she just saw Carlo at Shenanigans and he looked pretty bad. Marie takes Noel downstairs to have the housekeeper feed her and then she comes back upstairs to talk to Liz. Liz tells Marie that Neil left and that he accused Liz and Carlo of having an affair. Liz tells Marie that she got drunk after Neil left and that Carlo was just comforting her, but one thing led to another and she and Carlo were in bed when Neil walked in and saw them. Liz tells Marie that Neil has left and he is never coming back now and it is all her fault. Neil goes to a bar and gets drunk. The bartender refuses to serve him any more, so Neil goes to make a phone call. He calls Tom Horton and tells him that he is going to take an immediate leave of absence from the hospital and he tells Tom to ask Neil's faithful, loving wife Liz why. Pete tells Chris that he would like his opinion about an idea he has for The Body Connection. Pete tells Chris they could probably make more money if they turned The Body Connection into a club where people could go to either work out with weights and exer- cise or dance and just hang out. But Pete assures him it wouldn't be a hang out for young kids. He tells Chris that they could ap- peal to the older people as well. Chris tells Pete that he thinks Pete has a good idea and he is really proud of him for taking such an active interest in The Body Connection. Shane finally leaves Shenanigans and as soon as he walks out the door, Meagan goes over to the bus pan and retrieves the prism. She leaves and goes to a pay phone and calls Stephano and tells him that she has the first prism in her hands. Stephano is really happy and tells Meagan to keep the prism with her until they fig- ure out a way for her to get it to him. Meagan tells Stephano that Shane Donovan is still alive and she tells Stephano what Shane said to her in Shenanigans. Stephano tells her that they must be extra careful now that the ISA is closing in. Liz is lying in bed crying when all of a sudden she remembers something and goes over to the bedroom closet and pulls out a box with files in it.
