Edge of Night - The Last Days For those who don't know, Edge of Night has been cancelled. The 28th was its last day. It went out without fanfare. There was a short message in the closing credits that said "Happy Holidays and a Fond Farewell from the cast of the Edge of Night." Miles and Beth got married. Liz showed up at the reception because Beth wanted to talk to her. Liz and Preacher are leaving town. Preacher and Jodie have split up, and it looks like she and Jeremy will be getting together. Del asked Geraldine to marry him, and she accepted. Geraldine makes him sign a prenuptial agreement, which he does willingly. Raven, Sky, Jamie and the new baby (Charlotte Alexandria, I think) are all fine. The baby was apparently born in the mine shaft on the mountain before they were found. Calvin and Didi are going to be parents. Laurie, the Karr's daughter, is home. She had been drugged by Benedict at the sanitarium. That whole mess was resolved, but I missed it. Anyone know what was going on with Maria, Liz, Laurie, and how Raven was involved in the whole thing? Alicia Van Dyne is back in town for some reason, and Chris Egan is following her. There is still a warrant out on Alicia. Chris followed her into an antique shop, where Alicia dies. Apparently, her brother stabbed her. Donald Hext was also there, but Sky supposedly killed him in a sword fight before this. Chris narrowly escapes. Before she died, Alicia said to Chris, "off with her head." When Chris brings 2 policemen back to arrest them, the antique shop and the entire street where the shop was is gone. The policemen seem to think Chris has had a bit much to drink. Mike Karr sent Calvin out with Chris to try and find out what's going on. This never got resolved. Leaving themselves open for continuation, I guess.
