All My Children - 12/31-1/1 Bob fought a rattlesnake off, but it bit him in the process. The rescuers got there and took everyone to the hospital. Bob is going to be fine. He asked Hillary to marry him. Phoebe goes to see Donna and tells her she doesn't want Donna taking care of Laura anymore because of her checkered past and the fact that she's living with Tom without being married to him. Phoebe tells Donna that it's obvious that Tom doesn't love her or he would ask her to marry him now that he and Brooke are divorced. Phoebe later sees Tom and tells him he should get rid of Donna because of her past. Tom tell her that he's going to end the situation soon. He goes over to Donna's and asks her to marry him. She says yes. Phoebe is less than amused when she finds out. Mike found out that Erica told Brooke in a TV interview that they had gone off and gotten married. He threatens to leave her. Erica says she will go on TV and retract everything if he will stay. He does. Brooke comes over to the house and tapes an interview, during which she shows no mercy. It will be on the evening news the same night. But the interview never aired. Mike told Erica it was all a fake that he and Mark had staged with Brooke's help to teach Erica a lesson. Brooke found out that Brian, the person she is in competition with for the sole anchor of the evening news, makes twice what she does. She demands an increase, which she gets, but the competition will be shorter. Erica went to the station to confront Brooke about helping Mike stage the fake inter- view. Erica meets the station manager and tells him Brooke is a rotten newscaster and that Erica would be more than willing to take over for her. Myra and Jasper walked in on Andrew and Linda at the cabin. They were laying in front of the fireplace with nothing on. They left quickly. Myra and Jasper agreed not to tell Palmer. Palmer told Cynthia that he is in love with her. She faked it and said that the last thing she wanted to do was come between him and Daisy. I think Daisy has the room bugged and was listening to all this.
