Tad goes and sees Hilary, learning that she and Bob have broken up.
They profess love, kiss. Angie and detective worried because they
haven't heard from Jesse. Palmer returns from Vienna with a promise
from the famous Dr. Waldt (sp?) that he will come to PV to consult
on Nina's case. Palmer threatens Sandy to get moving on seducing Cliff.
Reluctantly, she tries. Hilary rips up letter from Bob. Yesterday, Gilles
gave Brooke a humongous emerald in a necklace. Vera lets Jesse out
of a closet where Bernie had stashed him after knocking him uncon-
cious. Jesse tells her that he was undercover & that Bernie is a
crook. Vera furious, & together they figure out that the robbery is
tonight at the Wallingfords' charity cocktail party. Jeremy shows
up at party & convinces Mark they should start looking for Erica.
Erica on the run from a bear (played by Ralph, the Wonder Bear {really!})
and a drunken Adam. Last shot: Chris & gang start holding up the
guests at the party.
