[] Adam tells Erica he has plan A and plan B: A is to love her and she'll love him; B is if he can't have her, no one will. Jeremy arrives on Adam's island in an outboard inflatable boat, which he camouflages. Phoebe sticks her nose in Brooke's business, telling her that Gilles is no good for her. Agreeing, Brooke enumerates the reasons why Gilles is not a viable long-term partner for her. The windows in Erica's room lock from the outside (could be significant!). Back in PV, Mark & Mona agree that Adam probably did kidnap Erica to Canada, but Mona is unsure whether she trusts Jeremy to save Erica. Jeremy looks quite fetching in his swim trunks and his rescuing-editors jumpsuit. (I swear, that was the purpose of that scene!!) Jeremy spots house & Adam & guard. I'm not sure if there is more than one guard. Ellen & Ross have taken in Julie, a girl of about 14 - 16, as a foster child. They are excited to death. Julie is *extremely* well-behaved and very appreciative of everything Ellen & Ross are doing for her. Sandy, buying new clothes at the Boutique, convinces Cliff to help her pick out clothes for new image. She tells Cliff how grateful she is for all his help and kisses him on the cheek. Cliff surprised, seems to realize passes are being made at him, and he is puzzled. Brooke makes up reason to call Gilles. The social worker tells Ross that Julie's mother and foster parents are dead. They had expected trouble from her at the placement center, but she has always been this nice. Julie & Robin meet at the Boutique. Robin thinks Julie is outrageously naive, and Robin *is* jealous of all the attention Julie is getting. Myrtle gives Julie a sweater as a welcoming present. Robin *very* vehemently refuses to go along with Myrtle's plan to put her into high school. Adam tells Erica,"One way or another, we will be lovers by morning." Jeremy steals guard's gun, alters it, puts it back. Brigitte (maid) still refuses to help Erica. Jeremy knocks out guard & steals his keys. Palmer goes to see Nina, is very upset at her unresponsiveness, blames it all on Cliff. Brooke tells Gilles that she will make "as many mistakes (i.e. getting involved with him) as she thinks necessary." They go off to bed together. Last shot: Erica is alone in her room.
