Every time i look at net.tv.soaps, all I see are postings about ABC soaps. Where are all of you who watch the CBS ones? What's Victor Newman up to ? What about Betsy from ATWT ? And how about GL ? - Haven't seen that in months. So long and thanx for all the fish, Larry

I second your request! If there is some slight interest, I might be able to catch a few moments of Y&R, ATWT, and GL in June... In the mean time, anyone know anything about these shows???

And Ashley is feeling remorse. Jack finally called in but is still eluding Ashley & Victor. Gina brought Frances Landers (her ex-cell mate) back to Genoa City and spilled the beans to Paul about Lauren breaking up her engagement to Neil. This ploy was engineered by Shawn (although nobody knows it). As a result of his new-found knowledge, Paul forces Lauren to confess the whole matter to her father (or he would leave her), which she does, to the chagrine and utter dissillusionment (sic?) of her father. Jill has decided to fake the symptoms of depression in the hopes that John might pity her and postpone (or drop) the divorce issue. John decided to hire Brad on as full time (year round) help with the promise that he would find work for him at Jabot when things were slow at the house. ************************** These updates will occur twice a week. (Tues & Thurs.) or thrice (M W F) depending on whether people are reading it. I would appreciate so mail from those interested so that I may know my audience. Since I have gotten some positive mail about Y&R updates I will be continuing them. The general consensus I have gotten so far is that people are interested but have not watched the show in some time. To facilitate these fans, I am listing the regular cast (currently) of Y&R with a short bio of each one's current status. This will provide most of you with a jumping-off point where you will be able to follow my somewhat terse style of updating the show. Well...here goes... The Abbott Family ----------------- John Abbott - Head of the household, Chairman of Jabot cosmetics. He recently had a stroke when he saw pictures of his wife in bed with another man. The man's face was doctored so he doesn't know that the man is his son. He is trying to get a divorce. Jill Abbott - John's wife. A coniving, little tramp who would do ANYTHING for her own benefit. She is currently faking depression so that John might drop his divorce whims. Jack Abbott - John's only son. Currently Vice-chairman of Jabot. He got there by blackmailing his sister Ashley into resigning her spot as President. He is currently hihding out overseas. Some time ago, he was going to leave Jabot to work for his mom and stole a new Jabot perfume formula in the process. He has been found out and is being pursued. Ashley Abbott - The older daughter. She found out a while ago that John is not her real father. She is the product of an affair between her mother and Brent Davis, an ex golf pro who just died. John has no idea of this whole affair. The only one it seems. She is searching for Jack. She has the hots for Victor. Traci Abbott - The younger daughter. She is just about divorced from Danny and is about to get involved with Brad. She is overweight and has some insecurities about it. Brad - The Abbott family's groundskeeper. He is very freindly with Jill and has a thing for Traci. He was just rehired as full-time help by John. Mamie - The Abbott's maid. The Williams and Fenmores ------------------------- Paul Williams - Private investigator. Married to Lauren Fenmore. Currently verrrry pissed at Lauren because he found out that she engineered a breakup between her father and his finacee. He is threatening to leave her. Lauren F. Williams- Married to Paul. A very talented singer who is trying to have a great marriage but has a cruel and vindictive streak a mile long. Everytime she turns around she comes up smelling like roses. Ma & Pa Williams - Paul's Parents. Neil Fenmore - Lauren's dad. He was in love with Gina and was going to marry her until he found out from her ex-cellmate that she was an ex-con. He dropped her like a hot potato. He is very mad at Lauren because he found out that she engineered that scene. Joanna Manning - Lauren's long gone mother who just returned. She and Lauren are becoming very close, and Lauren confides and involves heer in all her little schemes. The Romaladi's -------------- Danny Romaladi - Very talented singer, and Lauren's partner and mentor. He had his voice destroyed by Shawn (who didn't want him & Lauren together). He's mad at Lauren because of the marriage breakup between his sister and her father. Gina Roma - Danny's sister. She was going to marry Neil. She found her ex-cell mate and brought her back to tell how Lauren hired her to ruin the marriage. The Newmans ----------- Victor Newman - The richest man in town. He has a thing for Ashley and hates Jack. He doesn't trust his newly-found long-lost brother and suspects him of being in love with Nikki. He is about to track down and destroy Jack for smuggling the stolen formula into his newly-purchased company, Mergeron. Nikki Newman - Victor's gorgeous wife. She was a stripper. She is insanely jealous of Ashley and is very freindly with Victor's brother. She was in love with Jack and almost ran away with him when Victor was spending too much time with Ashley. She is Jabot's lead model. Matthew Miller - Victor's llnf brother. He has a BIG thing for Nikki. He is very secretive about his past (he's a mercenary) and cannot get along with Victor. The Rest -------- Kate Chancellor - Jill's nemesis. She showed John the porno pics of Jill to get back at Jill's taking her husband away 8 years before. She was BIG in love with Brent Davis before he died. Jazz Jackson & Tyrone Jackson - Two black brothers who helped put the Genoa City Mafia out of business. Tyrone is trying to get back with Amy. He went under cover for a long time and was masquerading as a white man (great makeup job!) and ended up marrying the mafia-boss's daughter to get at him. She left town when her father was killed in a raid. Jazz works as a legman for Paul & Andy. Andy Richards - Paul's partner in the Private I bizz. He is played by Steven Ford (ex - Prez's son). He is currently trying to woo a singer named Farran (sic?). Paul confides everything to him. He was in on the Jackson Brothers undercover. Shawn Garrett - Lauren's business manager. The slimiest, sleaziest little scuzzball you ever did see. He single-handedly, ruined Danny's carreer, manipulated Lauren into signing an exclusive recording contract, and is now using Lauren's marriage-breakup scheme to try to oust Paul from her life. He is a real psycho and is not above doing ANYTHING to get what he wants! Amy Lewis - Tyrone's love. Her father is a police commander. Well there you have it. If there are any characters I may have missed tell me, and I'll fill in the blanks. If you want more info on a certain character, send me mail or call me and I'll fill you in.
