[] Brian's interview with Bruce Springsteen was picked up by 22 stations. Brooke asks Brian to sub for her on the Midday News. Brian is quite happy to oblige Brooke by taking over her air time. Mark tells Brooke that her investigation into Erica's whereabouts was appallingly shallow. Jeremy making progress on fixing radio. A fixed version of "Raising Kane" is out (that is, a copy of the original) and is a big success. Adam sort of suggests to Brigitte that he might kill Erica when he finds her. Adam monitoring marine distress calls, hoping Jeremy will make one. Per Jesse's plan, Greg goes to the house, allows Rudy to take him prisoner and Greg is making a lot of noise and distraction in the living room. Chris wakes up. Erica & Jeremy flirting madly with each other. Mark & Mona, hearing nothing from Jeremy, call cops. Good old Det. Young comes over, says call back when you've got some evidence. Jesse gets into basement of house, makes a noise. Mark goes to complain to Tom about the fact that Brooke leaving Laura with Mrs. Valentine a lot, lately. Gilles comes to pick up Brooke for lunch -- he comes hanging out of a helicopter, with a bunch of roses. They have their lunch in a jet, which he offers her. Chris goes into basement to check out noise, Jesse knocks him out & gets gun. Gilles invites Brooke to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands with him for a job he has to do. Mark tells Tom he wants to get Brooke back. Jeremy & Erica about 2 millimeters from kissing when radio squawks. He gives out mayday message with their location, but there is no reply and it is unclear whether Adam picked it up. Corinne *rips* Brooke for shirking her responsibilities at the station. Brooke not taking her very seriously. Rudy looking for Chris. Jesse lures Rudy into kitchen, then runs around to front door. Rudy returns to living room; Jesse & Rudy aiming at each other across living room; Angie screams; a shot rings out; end of show. Today's question: How much trouble is Brooke going to get into when it comes out that she had a solid lead on Erica's kidnapping and flaked out on the followthrough? Today's other question: Gilles' job in St. Thomas has to do with testing a new underwater vehicle or rig. Does this mean AMC is going to jump on the underwater treasure/Titantic bandwagon?
