Shane hears Kimberly screaming in the stables and breaks a door down. As that exit gets blocked, Shane goes to break another Kimberly yells to Shane to watch out as a beam falls. They go outside, and Kimberly can see!! Victor arrives and Kimberly lets him believe she's still blind. Emma and Alex come in, and Emma suggests that the fire is connected with tomorrows horse race. Victor is suspicious of Emma, and wants to take Kimberly home. She says no, her and Shane must go to the hospital to be checked for smoke inhalation. Ivy sort of freaks out at Michael at the hospital about the baby needing the rare type AB- blood, which Pete has. Pete talks to Ivy in a laundry room! Michael comes in, they sneak Pete out in a laundry cart and he gives blood in a unused private room. Michael tells Pete that Victor is out in the hall. Then he brings in their son, who they name "Charles (Charlie) Peter Jannings", and Pete leaves, hitchhiking. Francis, the good samaritan guy, summonds his Doctor friend John to care for Hope. Hope is freaking out, she thinks they want to kill her. John sedates her. John argues with Francis about him 'keeping' Hope, but Francis says Hope wouldn't let him take her to a hospital. Bo is still in jail, freaking out on a new jailer. At the hospital, Shane asks Michael to say Kimberly needs to stay overnight, to get her away from Victor. Victor leaves, Shane goes to Kimberlys room and they both leave to go to his place. Victor comes back, but Michael tells him not to disturb Kimberly. Victor asks Ivy if she has heard from Pete, and he sets up the christening the next day for Charlie, and he wants to be his godfather. Ivy says yes. In Shanes bedroom, he explaines to Kimberly why he backed off on their relationship. Kimberly tells him that she knows he is working for the ISA about Victor, and about the secret room she found. She wants to work undercover with Shane, but he says no. They go to bed together. Jim Reed
